Question About Ai
I've started messing around with Ai and automation. Would it be interesting if I just started filming all of the things I'm building and learning? I'm constantly thinking of really cool ways to use Ai in the printing industry and would love to build ideas for you guys. Ideas that I think have potential: - Ai profit margin calculator - Ai customer quoting - Content creation and uploading - Creating lots of Ads to run on Facebook - Print on Demand There are a million other ideas; those were just top of mind. By the way, I just built this profit margin calculator you can try out. (Click Here) Maybe I'll make a video on how I did it and make it look professional? Thanks! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1SJU53LWUY0OoGLYAYC8xUvvoCngXbsZUmaS0KNPBESc/copy

Definitely will take a look at anything you suggest and see if it is something we can implement or benefit from. Thanks for putting it out there!
Problem FIXED!
Hey I had a Problem with Vertical „cloudy“ lines in my picture. I tested a lot, but @Rush Decatur gave me a very good tip. I used the polyster That came with my big Heat press. Now the clouds are gone!

@Shevon Williams you can purchase them on Amazon in a large roll or you can buy individual sheets at different sizes. My machine came with a large one that is attached to the top plate so I don't have to place it and remove it every time. They are Teflon sheets. Hope this helps. https://www.amazon.com/PTFE-Fiberglass-Fabric-PTFE-Coated-Sublimation/dp/B06XNQTW6H/ref=sxbs_pa_sp_search_thematic_btf_sspa?content-id=amzn1.sym.f1e7c339-6d78-4007-a5c7-8a2ba4865261%3Aamzn1.sym.f1e7c339-6d78-4007-a5c7-8a2ba4865261&crid=2ZYRI41MEEY9X&cv_ct_cx=large+teflon+sheet+for+heat+press&keywords=large+teflon+sheet+for+heat+press&pd_rd_i=B06XNQTW6H&pd_rd_r=587057e8-d2f8-4583-af3f-257be5cee813&pd_rd_w=qhIIy&pd_rd_wg=XL3Rw&pf_rd_p=f1e7c339-6d78-4007-a5c7-8a2ba4865261&pf_rd_r=ZAEE3TV128T5RHBCQDNW&qid=1778681836&sbo=RZvfv%2F%2FHxDF%2BO5021pAnSA%3D%3D&sprefix=large+teflon+sheet+for+heat+press%2Caps%2C224&sr=1-1-add52096-d8d9-46a0-8f9f-f83b12db51c8-spons&aref=wwSfqXKSHT&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9zZWFyY2hfdGhlbWF0aWNfYnRm&psc=1
Waves in Prints
I’m at my wit’s end. Every time I solve one issue, another pops up. Right now I’m pressing at 180°C for 300 seconds, but I’m consistently getting wave patterns in prints sized 18×24 inches and larger—the smaller prints come out perfectly fine. I can’t seem to pinpoint what’s causing it. On top of that, I’m also noticing small black dots scattered across the prints. At this point, I’m not sure what’s going wrong, so any guidance or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Good to hear and thanks for sharing what you found was wrong. Always good to have that info in the back pocket. Hopefully smooth sailing from here on out!

Still kind of baffling where the black dots were coming from. The wrinkles make sense but those not so much. I guess it doesn't matter as long as they are not there anymore.
New to the community
Hi guys, I just joined the community. In looking at the activity, it doesn't look like its very active. Is this still active? I have an issue that I need help with. I am trying to print a 18x14 picture of a black German Shepard, but when I send it to my Epson F570 it prints out wavey and looks wet. I have changed a few setting but can't figure it out. I am using Photoshop. Also, when I try to apply it to the sublimation blank, it comes out cloudy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What settings are you using on your heat press? Time? Temp? What brand of heat press do you have and what size? What ICC profile are you using? I was having similar issues a while back but changed my settings to what Rush had suggested and now the results are beautiful! I am using Chromaluxe though, so that may be a big difference too.
profil ICC BEAUTY SUB ?
Does Beauty Sub have an ICC profile available? If not, why don't they have one, given that they're starting to become known in the field?

From what I understand, there is a lot more information that goes into an ICC profile other than the type of surface you are sublimating on. I believe it takes into account the brand of paper you are using and the ink you are using also. At least that is what was explained to me by the guys at DTG.

Been in the screen printing business for 24 years and have always been intrigued with sublimation. Finally taking the plunge.
