I was give a huge box of odds and ends to sell and one of them was some sunglasses - They sold for $40!!!!!! I told my hubs we need to start sourcing sunglasses at the sell price. Anybody here sell sunglasses?

I love selling sunglasses/eyeglasses. Agree with Colton on the advice here. Also love that they are easy to store.
Vinted
Anyone using Vinted, what are your likes / dislikes, is it as good as Depop and others?

I started using Vinted about a month ago. It’s a great way to offload older inventory for cheap; I’ve sold items on Vinted same day or within a couple days of listing that have sat for 1-2 years on eBay. My least favorite thing about Vinted is you don’t have control on the buyers preferred shipping provider. Vinted uses USPS or SpeedX. I don’t like when I have SpeedX packages because I don’t have a drop off location that is convenient for me. That may not be the same case for you, however!

@Terry Primeaux listing lower there. I’m using it as a way to get rid of older inventory. Most of my sales are between $5-15 there. The best thing with Vinted is zero seller fees.
eBay Store Sale Event
Happy Friday! Does anybody else create sale events for their eBay store? I usually create one around holidays or times that major retailers also hold sale events; Labor Day weekend being a great example. I made 2 events for this weekend. 33% off inventory 31+ days old and 20% off inventory 15-30 days old. I’ve seen an increase in sales the past 18 hours doing so, and also some lowball offers. Either way, it has drove traffic to my store. Thought I would share this with you all!

@Christina Pekalla I do it on my desktop. If you need to use your phone, you will need to do it on a web browser and not the app itself

@Jeffery Reece yup! through EOD Monday
Would you have picked this stuff up?
My friend and I hit 10 goodwills yesterday. These cardigans were 1990s 100% wool. Would you have picked them up? $6.99 a piece. (We were in the Cleveland area so it was a bit more expensive than by me)

As long as they don’t have holes and/or haven’t substantially shrunk I would pick those up at $6.99. Especially with fall being right around the corner. Side note, 10 Goodwill’s in one day is impressive. That is not for the weak!

I took what @Jared Grandy said about Depop - reaching out to let them know offer accepted and applied that to marketplace - when someone messages me asking if something is available instead of just responding yes, I also respond when the next time I can meet up is. I have gotten more responses this way and I think more sales. I attached an example below

@Terry Primeaux it looks like this when creating/editing a listing.

@Colton Rockwell I also like the “can you meet up today”/“I can pay in cash today”/etc responses if you find something to purchase as a buyer to set yourself apart from others too!
