ITS A BOAT (not a basket)
History isn't repeating itself... it's remembering itself. This week's astrology feels different. Yes, we have Mercury retrograde Cazimi, a powerful New Moon in Cancer, Venus square Uranus, Uranus sextile Neptune and Uranus trine Pluto. But rather than looking at these as isolated events, I wanted to step back and ask a much bigger question. What if these aspects are weaving together threads that were first planted decades ago? In this video we explore: • Why this week's "Basket" and why it represent a boat! • The symbolic journey from Pluto (the underworld) to Jupiter (the horizon) • How the cycles of 1965, 1993 and 2020 may all be echoing through the present • Why Mercury retrograde in Cancer may be inviting us to remember rather than react • The deeper meaning of the New Moon opposite the Capricorn degrees that shaped 2020 • What Pluto's upcoming Out of Bounds journey could symbolise over the coming decade Rather than asking "What's going to happen next?", perhaps the more important question is: What have we learned, and where are we heading? Freaking whoo hoo When I rose at 6am this morning to share the sunrise with the dawning NZ world, I was overjoyed to see two riding lights in the bay. They signal an occupied boat at anchor and are lit until sunrise..... For some reason this sight always makes me ridiculously happy. Then...Louisa, in class we spoke about high activity in two points of a chart, resolving into the point at the house half way between each party.... IE the space that appears empty yet is recieving the energies generated elsewhere. The place that seems, but is not quiet. This resonated with me because I have been prodding this idea around in my own way for a week while. Then... later in the day listening to Carrie's reading for Sagittarius for Leo season, the same thing came up. She spoke about the lighting up in August of the Aries/ Leo axis, deriving from the seeding in Aries early in the year of the Stallium, and the first eclipse season-- and the shifting of the Nodal Dance into Leo, accompanied by the Solar eclipse... She said the energy would also pivot and pour into the middle point--- Sagittarius. And then, landing here-- .. you brought the picture of the boat. Which immediately set me to looking at the "mast"of the boat, and it's riding light. Which would be in the quiet place no one is looking at. Scorpio. Am I getting this right? What are your thoughts? Happy New Year Everybody
When the seven stars of the Matariki cluster (the Pleades) rise in the Midwinter sky, is when New Year is celebrated in New Zealand. We are so cool down here that we have an actual astronomically/ astrologically timed New Years festival. And I made a cake. Will freaking wonders never cease? With all of our love to yous, who are all, without exception north and northerer of here. On this little planet, it is not very hard to be north of here unless you are a penguin. Classes today (premium members) !!
There was a problem with Skool users across the Skoolverse this morning. I've reported the problem. I know a couple of people were unable to join this morning's class. The class did go ahead, but it was a bugger to join. In this session, we looked at the 9th house in all of our charts and how they work, which led us to conversations about Magical hair, Tawny Frogmouth birds, CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) amongst other things.....
