Hi, I'm Janet and I don't remember if I introduced myself before so will again! I am a personal trainer and nutrition coach, part time apprentice kayak instructor, mum of 4 boys and a farmer too! I am a Multisport athlete (kayak, run, bike) and regularly do the Coast to Coast.. I sought out help during lock down to learn how to properly increase my strength and lack of core strength and found Pei! I have scoliosis and have strength trained and rehabbed that within an inch .. now currently training more-so in running due to shattering my radial head and getting a shiny new one! Slowly getting back to real life. My fav lift is deadlift. I am based at the bottom of the South Island in NZ..
Powerlifting with Scoliosis
This is something that I come across with clients from time to time. Does anyone have any experience with this specifically within the context of powerlifting? Any insights are much appreciated 🙏

@Luke Selway Hi Luke, so sorry for not being here sooner! Been a wild time. Yes happy to talk with you about scoliosis. I myself have it and while I am a beginner powerlifter as such, I've lifted weights for years and been my own rehab guru.
