A New Experience
I'm excited to be in the group. My current project is The Countenance Trilogy. Book 1 is finished and available. Book 2 is in the works, and Book 3 is forming in notes! It's an unusual experience to take a book that was published long ago, revitalize it, and continue the story in two additional books! I'm an avid reader, as well.

Happy to see you here, Joy. Cool revisitng your favorite place.
Hi everyone!
Hi! I am new to BIG BOOK LOVE but not to a love of reading :) I grew up spending my summer school breaks reading fiction in a hammock in my backyard. I majored in history and was a lawyer before I realized I was really supposed to be an story-teller. I am now a multi-published author and I've had the privilege of working with 3 of the big 5 US publishers.

The Night Driver - Checking in
Hello everyone, glad to be here. My name is M. Damien Suriel, a wannabe thriller novelist raised in the Lower East Side in the Neighborhood of Little Italy. Although my professional life took me across Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East, including a fourteen-year stint in Dubai. In my earlier years, I was a former NYC night-shift taxi driver. My debut novel, "The Night Driver," book one of a two-book series, is a gritty crime thriller set in 1979 New York City, drawing heavily from lived experience, martial arts training, and a strong focus on realism and consequence. Book two, titled "Broken Protocol," picks up exactly where book one left off, and it's 95% completed. I'm now retired and live on the Costa del Sol, Andalucía, Spain, with my wife and our working line Czech Republic German Shepherd, named Lobo. The Night Driver is my debut novel. Looking forward to learning from you all and contributing where I can.

Nice to meet you. My ancestors came from Upper Nether Wallop, north of Salisbury. 1638. Maybe he left because of the village's name. LOL, but I love to say it.
Join our 26th Anniversary Celebration Event
Hello everyone! I just wanted to announce that we will be having our 26th anniversary celebration for the Pulpwood Queen's Book Club rebranded now to the Big Book Love Author Community on Sunday January 18th at 6:00 PM Central time. In years past we would be at a live Girlfriend Weekend book festival during this weekend but as we transition into the new Big Book Love Author Community, we are putting that event on hold. Once we get the entire community on the new platform, we will discuss more about reviving Girlfriend Weekend. We want to invite all old and new members to join us right here in our Skool community via a live group zoom meeting. The link to join is https://www.skool.com/live/Z8zkpC9Qxws If you are going to join us, you will have to be inside Skool either on your laptop or on the Skool mobile app. Please invite anyone you know who is an author or someone who loves reading to come and celebrate with us! If you have any questions, please leave them below in the comments. See you Sunday! ______________ Paul Roberson Community Executive Director ______________________________ Classroom Author Profile www.bigbooklove.com/paul-l-roberson/ _______________________________________
