It took 117 days and 17 videos to reach 1000 subscribers yesterday. I still have a long way to go in terms of watch time though. I'm very grateful for the people who have subscribed, watch my videos and leave comments. Especially considering I still haven't nailed down a real niche just yet. My very first video still remains my popular, which is frustrating. I've been trying to recapture the magic of that one, but it hasn't been easy. Looking at the numbers it seems people watch more of my videos when I'm talking about YouTube. It seems people don't care as much about me talking about my life (lol) or anything not related to YouTube. That said, I'm still going to make the videos I want to make. As I've said on some of my videos, a big reason I'm doing this is to leave my legacy for my kids to watch down the road. That's also why I've included them in some of my videos. Here's to a great 2025 for all of us and thank you to everyone in this community!

As part of my challenge to post one video per day until I reach 100 videos by February 2nd, 2025, I’ve already posted 51 videos in 51 days! During this time, I’ve received 5121 views, 259.6 watch hours, and have now 170 followers (+67). I’m committed to posting daily “imperfectly perfect” videos, until I hit 100 videos!

He is the first one of the intensive program to get monetized! Woohoo took just 8 weeks of working together to get him there! Matt has been awesome, testing different topics and styles of filming and finally found his sweet spot! He had a plan to give YouTube a year to start making money and when he didn't hit that goal he reached out and joined this program. I'm so freaking proud of him. He always has the best attitude and literally pours everything into his videos and editing them. So so so awesome! The first day of making money was Dec. 24th from ad sense. How timely is that?! :) Merry Christmas from YT. :) Just another exampe of how sticking with it and testing different strategies will get you there!!! Woohooo!!! And to encourage you all some more, I believe he is in a very unique niche - silver pouring. Anyone with a passion (and a market for that passion) can succeed! I know this is probably not something others might get excited about but I have two new subscribers this week. I have a total of 43 and I’m grateful for each one. Any growth at all is so encouraging and it makes me feel like I can really do this.
