This came together in an afternoon of inspiration! The stick in the middle is hollowed out (kinda) to allow for the string of lights to go inside. The knot hole made a perfect “fireplace”, and I ran the string out the bottom and up into the table so I could make a lit candle. I totally mangled the top of the lantern so that I could fit the solar cork light. I probably would do it differently next time, but I do like that this could just be hung out in the garden.

I am having trouble sourcing acorns this time of the year. Where does everyone find/get them.

Hi, I enjoy creating and making things, nature walks, and have always loved cozy outdoor rooms. My flower garden is always full of random, beautiful pieces of wood and interesting rocks.I came across this community and am eager to learn more about creating fairy houses. When I was younger, I made freehand wood-burning things to give away. Now I mostly knit wool items to wear, embroider whimsical pieces to use or gift, and literally want to learn every new creative, crafty nature thing I see on YouTube! Looking forward to “gathering more stuff to make something with it,” and learning from you lovely people many new things to try. Thanks!!
