In Loving Memory of Pepper
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that our beloved dog, Pepper, passed away today. Pepper had been battling limb osteosarcoma, and despite our best efforts, the cancer was extremely aggressive. In the end, we made the heartbreaking decision to euthanize him due to his intense pain and decreased quality of life. Pepper gave us nine incredible years of unconditional love and joy, and we are so grateful for the memories we have of him. While his passing is deeply painful, we take comfort in knowing that he was given a peaceful and painless death. When Pepper was diagnosed, we reached out to Daniel Orrego, who referred us to Mike Battaglia. Mike crafted a raw ketogenic diet tailored to Pepper’s weight, age, and activity levels, including supplements to support him. He only ate premium food from Piper’s Farm, and we implemented fenbendazole as well. Unfortunately, osteosarcoma is an incredibly aggressive cancer, with an expected survival time of only four months post-diagnosis. We wished we could have pursued the full Press-Pulse protocol, including hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) and DON, but the financial costs were beyond our reach. Even if we had found a way to access HBOT and DON, prolonging his suffering would not have been fair to him. Pepper was a fighter, and we did everything we could to give him the best possible care. While his battle ended sooner than we hoped, we find solace in the fact that we did what was best for him. Thank you, Pepper, for the love, loyalty, and happiness you brought into our lives. You will be forever missed and always loved. Rest in Peace ❤️ I’ve shared some photos, including one of us at the park today with Pepper, Fiona, @Leonor Henriques, @Sebastian Henriques and @Matilde Henriques. I have also attached the diet plan that Mike created in case someone has a dog. Please note that this plan is specifically customized to Pepper’s health condition, weight, age, and activity levels. It should not be used for another dog, as a few supplements can cause toxicity if overdosed or fed to dogs with certain health conditions.
