Hey everyone! I’m Joaquin from Northern Virginia and new to this community I wanted to see if there are any developers in the Northern Virginia or DC area who would be open to connecting. I run diagnostic/ AI audits for businesses to identify problems and opportunities. I can handle a lot of the development myself, but I’m still a one-person team and can only take on a limited number of projects at once until I start hiring. So I was looking to connect with reliable developers who may be interested in collaborating on future projects if the opportunities come up. I’ve also never worked with another developer remotely before, so I’d appreciate any advice on how others structure these types of collaborations. How do I know who can truly deliver.

This taught me a lot. I went into yesterday hoping to get a booking, but I didn’t. Regardless, I walked into 6 businesses, talked to the owners, pitched my offer, and pushed through the nerves. By the 6th conversation, my confidence and speaking skills had improved significantly. No booking this time, but I gained experience—and that’s a win. 💪
