Part 1 BIO; Richie Stonecold is a Singer , Songwriter , Producer from California whose music blends Smooth R&B , Smooth Jazz and Some Pop with the desire to bring honest storytelling . Growing up he developed a deep love for music as a way to process pain and connect with others. After personally experiencing friends who engaged in abuse, both who caused it and those who received it , opened up his eyes to the need to be there for those who want to express their pain and for those that want to apologize for being guilty of causing it. This became now his focus on his artistry, giving that voice to those who struggle to speak those who feel silenced and those carrying guilt who don’t know how to begin healing. Through his songs, Rich creates a space for listeners to confront difficult truce and find Hope in the possibility of change. Part 2 ABOUT THE PROJECT ; The Song “ I Was So Blind “ is this single that explores the pain of unrecognized abuse, the weight of guilt, and the difficult path towards accountability and redemption. The music blends some smooth R&B with the touch of pop, though with emotional storytelling driven production. The project was created to reach both victims who feel trapped in silence and those who have caused harm and are now confronting their actions. Songs like I was so blind were written from the perspective of someone who finally sees the damage they caused and struggles to find the words to make amends. The project moves between pain, regret, awareness, and the hope of forgive forgiveness. Part 3 WHY IT MATTERS What bothers me, is if there is no accountability, no answering for one’s actions, how is this pain going to stop if it’s not addressed directly and efforts made at all cost to change the mindset of people, who for some reason feel justified in these evil actions blaming it on trauma or abuse that they experienced themselves. I feel It can never be too late to find whatever is available to stop this nonsense. So many people in America that have experienced grape or physical violence and or stocking by an intimate partner in their lifetime and I think this is certainly sad . My current contribution is to use music and the lyrics of my songs to hopefully reach people and make them think, maybe even help them to realize it’s time to stop. The ULTIMATE GOAL is hoping to be blessed enough to save even one life , which is worth any and all effort , and that to me is priceless. !!!
