Yes, I’ve just been a bit busy lately developing my crypto project. I’ll make an update post soon.
🧵 Discussion Thread: Graphics Style Feedback
Quick question for everyone! 👇 What do you think about the current Blockchain University graphics approach (monochrome, clean icons, simple diagrams)? 🎨📚 I’m building these in Photoshop by hand, and I like that they’re simple, consistent, and fast to produce. I want to avoid the flashy stock graphic look and the overly common AI-generated style that’s everywhere right now. My goal is clarity and consistency while we build the foundation. That said, I’m totally open to evolving the style or even doing a full design overhaul later when we gain more traction and get stronger feedback from the community. 🔁✅ I’ll also be adding screen recordings and on-camera video as the curriculum matures, and I’ll likely circle back to published lessons to layer in extra elements as we refine the direction. For now, I’m focused on making the written lessons and visuals as clear as possible. 🎥🖥️ What’s working for you, and what would you suggest? I’m genuinely open to feedback and constructive criticism. Be honest and speak your mind, we’re all students of each other here. 🙏
Web3
Talking of Web3 This is the information I have gathered about it and still in the process of learning about this new tech. Web3 is a decentralized internet built on blockchain technology, where users theoretically have more control over their data, identity, and digital assets without relying on centralized platforms like Google or Facebook.

Well said. Google and Facebook are classic Web2 examples, centralized platforms that control the login, data, and rules. Web3 shifts more control into the individual’s hands by using wallets for identity and blockchains for ownership and verification.

@Aroha Heitia Yeah, Brave is a solid pick. I use it sometimes as an isolated browser for crypto activity, and their built-in wallet and privacy features are nice. If you enable Brave Rewards, it also ties into the BAT token as a way to earn rewards for ads. Opera is another option that has built-in crypto tools too, so it can be worth comparing them and just picking one as your dedicated crypto browser for better compartmentalization.
🧵 Discussion Thread: Protecting Your Seed Phrase
🔑 Seed phrases are the master key to your wallet. They’re your 12–24 word recovery phrase. If someone gets it, they can take everything, and there’s no password reset or support desk in crypto! 🚫 Protecting it is less about being “paranoid” and more about building a simple system that’s safe and easy to follow. ✅ What’s your seed phrase setup strategy? Share what you do to stay safe (and what you avoid). Paper vs metal, and whether you keep one backup or multiple backups. 👇

@Aroha Heitia Love this. Writing it down exactly and keeping it fully offline is the habit that saves people years later. It’s wild how something that felt “small” in 2017 can become life changing money over time, so treating the seed phrase like it’s priceless from day one is the right mindset. When you stay disciplined and play the long game, great success is bound to follow.

@Charlotte Chesterfield I hope it was a relatively cheap lesson. I’ll admit I bought into a few ICOs that failed in my early days. We all learn one way or another. The key is taking the lesson, turning it into valuable knowledge, and not repeating the same mistakes as we move forward in our journey.
New to Blockchain — Looking for Guidance
Hi James 👋 I’m completely new to blockchain. My current background is AI automation. I’m really interested in learning more about blockchain/Web3 but not sure where to start in the right way. Could you please share: - A good learning path for beginners - Any recommended resources, courses, or core concepts to focus on first

Hey Bao 👋 Welcome in! I recommend starting with fundamentals and security. Most people rush into crypto without understanding the basics, then get burned by scams or simple mistakes. This space can be a minefield, so discipline matters. Learn what crypto is, how transactions work, and how a wallet works. Then move straight into security habits so you know how to protect yourself. A simple but effective plan is to watch a few tutorials on YouTube and follow along with our BUNI lessons as we roll out more curriculum. While you do these things, explore platforms like CoinMarketCap (token tracker) and CoinDesk (news platform) to get familiar with the landscape. As your confidence grows, you’ll naturally discover more resources and a clearer next step forward.
