After breaking through some insane imposter syndrome, I was able to finish my first track, "Monarch." Would love to share it with you all. Finishing up mastering this week, and would love any thoughts or feedback for final polish before I release.

I have a really stupid question. Its it better to go from a digital mixer into the audio interface or just take the mixer out?

Hi y'all 😉 As a drummer i have anything from an acoustic kit, with multiple snares and cymbals, multiple mics, D-Drum triggers, an e-kit and a load of plugins, VST instruments, samples/loops and libraries, etc... Very much into the real acoustic thing, but always open/into hybrid and anything that's really groovy 😀 My favorites are Superior Drummer, EZ Drummer and BFD when using triggers and E-Drum. I have GGD, Hertz and such, but these are more metal oriented...I think, although GGD has some other libraries as well. I've noticed that some libraries work better, or more easily, with some E-drums. I also have a Maschine MK3 and Maschine Studio. Which is quite nice for beats. And I think it works fine with MPC beats, Maschine 3, Battery, etc.... I also have Loopcloud and Splice. I am very happy with the way Loopcloud integrates with my daws, and works easily with different tempos and notes/chords. What are your favorites, depending on what you aim for? What do you use for drums, drum replacement and beats? What do you use as software or favorite tool to make your beats? How good are your groove/beat making skills? Are you a drummer or need/want some knowledge/skills on rhythmic theory and such?

HI anyone knows how to perfectly mix a soul sample or any chopped sample for hip hop??
