SOCIAL SATURDAY — WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON?
Last Saturday we shared links to things we're doing outside of Skool — and I thought we could make this a regular little tradition. 👀 But let's make it about more than just dropping a link. Show us what you're working on! It could be: 🎥 A YouTube video you'd love more eyes on 🎙️ A podcast or interview you've been featured in and you want us to listen too. 📸 Your latest social post 📝 A blog or article you've written 💻 A website or project you're building 🌱 Something you're creating behind the scenes 🚀 Something you've recently launched 👋 Or even just something you're excited about right now! Not more than one link or one share per hour. Then go and check out at least two other posts and support your fellow community builders and give some ❤️ And I'll go first... Right now I'm working behind the scenes on something I'm REALLY excited about: 🌱 The Organic Community Growth Cohort After my Summit talk on the Organic Community Growth Method™, I started asking community owners what they would actually want help with. The response has me pretty excited! I'm exploring a small, live cohort where we'd work through the Seven Pillars of Organic Community Growth together — but with one big difference... We'd work on YOUR community, not just talk about theory. I'm still putting the pieces together, so I'll share more as it develops. For now... What are YOU working on? Drop your link or tell us what you're building 👇 Let's see the people and projects behind the communities! 🚀

Teaching adults as they read to the kids

@Valerie Hail yep, my plan is a series on nature with enough biology to teach the adult and enough child learning to keep them interested... so many think of a garden as this big time consuming chore, it is so much easier than that... and planting one raspberry plant keeps on giving every year with little effort. In the book Lila is growing green beans for her father teaching her about seeds, patience and a warm heart.
📕 I did something a little scary… I wrote a book. 😂
I've been thinking about community for a long time. Not just how to grow one, but why some communities become places people genuinely don't want to leave. Why do people open up in some communities but stay quiet in others? Why do some members become friends? Why do some communities feel like a group of strangers... while others somehow feel like "these are my people"? Those questions eventually turned into a 40-page book. The Science of Belonging™ Why People Join Communities and why they stay. This isn't another book about algorithms, growth hacks or how to get more members. It's about the human side of community building — friendship, safety, trust, connection and feeling valued. And honestly, I'm really proud of this one. ❤️ I've put a LOT of work into it, and I'm excited to finally share it with you. 📖 The Science of Belonging™ is now available in the Nexus Classroom. It's a paid resource, because this isn't something I threw together as a quick freebie. It's a book I've poured a lot of thought, experience and time into creating. If you're serious about building a community where people don't just join, but actually belong I think you'll enjoy this. 👉 You'll find it in the Classroom. Oh, and before I forget… 👀 You might notice the Classroom looks a little different. I've been quietly giving Nexus a bit of a makeover while I've been working on everything behind the scenes. Nothing complicated I just wanted it to feel cleaner, easier to navigate and more useful as Nexus keeps growing. So have a look around when you go in to find the book.
