SMS via N8N and Android
Hello all! Make.Com has an in-built Android module that is capable of performing several tasks, including sending SMS messages. I would like to keep everything in N8N. Is there a method of sending SMS via my Android phone similar to the Make.Com module? I've looked at Twilio as an option, but would really prefer to stick with what I have. I would also consider using Google Voice a viable option, but Voice is really tricky in terms of rate limiting and such. I realize that I can only send one SMS per minute via Android. Thanks! James

The issue I am working on now is getting some sort of sent / delivery notification. Unlike the Make.Com solution, this doesn't drop an outgoing SMS in my chats, which I find to be weird.

UPDATE: I am no longer using the Traccar SMS Gateway app. I have migrated over to SMS Gateway by Capcom6 (GitHub). The Traccar Gateway limited my character output, and I didn't want to send multiple texts if possible. Also a super easy setup, and it DOES drop a sent SMS into my Text Messaging app. I put in a "Loop Over Items" node, and a "Wait" node (60sec) to keep the carriers happy. Also, I added a second Google Sheets node, to append the sent results into a separate sheet within the original workbook.
