SHELBY'S POLES FOR KIDS was founded in Sept of 2023. HonoringChildhood Cancer Awareness in memory of my daughter Shelby Barnhart who lost her life on Labor Day 2018 to cancer. To commemorate the 5yr anniversary of Shelby. Stemming from her enormous caring heart and her love for fishing, every year on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend we hand out fishing Poles, small tackle kit and bait to any child 16 and under. Giving back to our community one fishing ploe at a time
