her (2013) review
🎬 Just watched Her (2013), and it stayed with me longer than I expected. On the surface, it’s about a man falling in love with an AI.But underneath, it feels more like a film about loneliness, emotional dependency, and modern connection. What hit me most wasn’t the tech — it was how human everything felt: - wanting to be understood - filling emotional gaps - growing apart, even when love is real The movie doesn’t judge the relationship. It just lets you sit with the discomfort and ask your own questions. It made me wonder:Are we using technology to enhance connection or to avoid the risk of real intimacy? Curious how others felt about it. Did it feel romantic to you… or unsettling?

Waltz with Bashir is a visually striking and emotionally heavy film, but watching it as a Muslim, especially one aware of the history of the Israeli occupation and the suffering of Palestinians and Lebanese civilians, makes it a complicated experience.
Ari Folman attempts to reconstruct his lost memories of the 1982 Lebanon War, particularly the Sabra and Shatila massacre. The animation is stunning, the storytelling is engaging, and the film captures the way trauma distorts memory. However, it’s hard to ignore that the film ultimately centers the emotions of an Israeli soldier rather than the victims. The horror of the massacre is undeniable, but it is shown from the perspective of those who allowed it to happen, rather than those who suffered.
While it’s important to explore the psychological toll of war, Waltz with Bashir never fully reckons with responsibility. The Lebanese and Palestinian victims remain faceless, voiceless, and secondary to the emotional journey of an Israeli who, in the end, gets to grieve and be redeemed in a way that the real victims never were.
It’s a powerful film, but one that feels incomplete from a moral and historical standpoint. Watching it, I couldn’t help but wonder: where are the voices of the people who actually suffered? Who tells their stories?

I haven’t seen this film yet, so I don’t really have an opinion on it. Based on what you said, would you recommend it to me?

🎬 Movie Review: Oppenheimer
Genre: Biography / Drama IMDb: 8.3/10 The movie stands out because it doesn’t glorify the events. It shows the pressure, moral conflict, and consequences behind the creation of the atomic bomb. The tension during key moments is built through dialogue, silence, and music rather than action. What really hits is how the story shifts from achievement to responsibility, making the second half even heavier than the first. My rating: 9/10 ⭐ Have you watched it? Do you agree with the rating? 👇

Cillian Murphy’s performance in Oppenheimer feels very human. He uses quiet moments, subtle looks, and a calm voice to show a man struggling with fear, doubt, and guilt. He doesn’t play a heroic genius, but a real person carrying the weight of his choices. I really loved his performance; it impressed me a lot🤩

Buffering 👀
Buffering… does this happen to you too? You’re watching comfortably, then suddenly the screen freezes ⏳It comes back… and then it happens again The big question everyone asks: Is it because of the internet connection, or the channel itself? The truth is:Most of the time, it’s just temporary stream load or peak traffic, not necessarily your setup. Now tell us: - Does this happen to you often? - What do you usually do: switch the channel or wait it out? Let’s talk 👇👇

Yes, it happens a lot and it’s frustrating. My internet is usually fine, so the problem seems to be the channel, especially at peak times. I wait a bit, but if it continues, I switch.
