I’m a DADDY!! 🥹🌞💛
My baby girl “Sol Love Henkel” was born a couple weeks ahead of schedule this week on November 23rd at 8:47PM! 🌞💛 She weighed 6 lbs 2 oz and measured 20.25 inches tall! ⚖️ She came into this world perfectly; at home surrounded and received by her earthly family. And sent by her heavenly family. 🤍🗽 We can’t stop staring at her and crying tears of pure joy and gratitude 🥹💛 God is good. Virtus et Honos. (Strength & honor) 🙏🏼👊🏽

@Cody Henkel When the idea of the self dies inside, there is nothing left that can be killed by outside forces.🥶

Weak Men are a problem…
“All cruelty springs from weakness.” Seneca I agree with Jordan and Seneca. I believe that most (if not all) of the dissatisfaction you find in your life as a man comes from the dissatisfaction you have with YOURSELF. Everyone is really just a mirror to yourself. What do you think? 🤔

I saw someone say "happiness is your current situation minus expectations." It all comes down to perspective. "Weakness" is the inability to "make it happen" so to speak. Whether that be to physically move something, or to accept that you must go around or over. Whether that be the inability to drag yourself out of bed or overcome things like sadness or depression. Does pain stop you or do you push through? Do you learn from mistakes and struggles or blame someone else? Adapt and overcome. There is strength in numbers but the changes first must come from within before anything external will happen. The Yi (intention) moves the Qi (energy), which moves the blood, which moves the body. Before you can get beyond that to other people and the world around you. But the opposite is also true. The inner turmoil can suck other people in like a black hole and suck the soul right out.

@Cody Henkel I'm killing the expectation. No "getting" only "being".💯

Masculinity: Performative or Essential?
Great video about TRUE masculine traits. 👌🏽⚡️ You don’t NEED to be a weightlifter or grow a beard to be masculine. 🧔🏽‍♂️ Masculinity is more about having a backbone and the balls to stand for something that you believe in. 🙏🏼

@Cody Henkel No I've never seen this guy before. I just think it's weird that he says growing a beard is performative when that is just what naturally happens while shaving is almost always performative and he doesn't mention that. Bias creeps in with most people somewhere. And in that case "having a set of balls" could be seen as performative. Much more so than hunting or growing a beard. Any time there is another person involved, it could be performative.

@Cody Henkel And performative is not necessarily always a bad thing either. It's not like no guy has every tried to impress a girl and had it work. The problem lies in disregarding his values to do it or not having any because of it. Most people get dressed and don't just throw on anything or go super sloppy, that's performative. I get what he's saying, and I agree to a point, with the spine and balls part, but I think there is a lot more nuance to it and if you were to go back through our ancestors some of the things he's calling performative are just traditionally male roles because males generally have certain traits. If anything those things are more natural whereas the majority of the society we've built here is performative. So maybe the idea that you don't need to be traditionally masculine is what's actually performative?🤯😂
