Earth is Earth. We're all from here, or we're not (but that's another story). We have experiences that connect us to places, but being proud about governments is kind of a strange exercise in mental gymnastics. People are mostly people and there are a lot of beautiful places.

Guys what kids movie used to scare you?!😩
I’m having a conversation with my family and it turns out so many of us were scared of kids movies when we were younger!!😭 Kids movies can be very dark! Let me know in the comments, I’ll go first🙌😱

@Trinda Westman To each their own, lol. I grew up listening to mostly gangsta rap but Hip-Hop brings all genres together in a different way. I listen to a little bit of everything except country which is not music at all.

@Joseph Groom That sounds dope.
Guys there there are so many incredible people here with so many amazing niches can anyone help me?!😭
Not used to any physical exercise… smoke… eat terrible… I do not look after my body the way I should😭 I’m turning my life around but the first work out I have done has left me with heart palpitations, feeling very sick and anxious… I’m assuming the anxiousness is probably adrenaline? (Serotonin/endorphins as well) light headed as well! It sucks so bad because I want to try my hardest to get fit again but how long am I going to feel like this after every time I work out and how long will it be until my body starts to adapt?! I’m pretty good - I can run, cycle, swim, lift weights. I can do it all I just haven’t for a very long time! Advice anyone?!💪❤️🙌 Ps; if anyone wants to tell me I’m NOT dying right now as well; that would be amazing😭😅

@Joseph Groom All martial arts have similarities, in the old days they were all pretty well rounded but in modern times some have evolved more for sport and others more for health. Typically the Chinese arts are thought to be what most others stem from. They mainly fall into 2 camps, the internal arts and the external arts. The internal arts have more to do with the concept of "Qi" (which is its own Ted Talk, lol), what's going on internally, alignments, breath, the fluids and electricity running through the body and so on. The main internal arts are Tai Chi, Bagua, and Xing Yi (also, Yi Quan). And then Qigong which isn't typically a martial art but can be. It's somewhat similar to Yoga in that it's more specifically a health exercise with implications beyond that into the spiritual realm, should you choose to go that route. The external arts have more to do with external strength, muscular power and the like. External arts are like Shaolin, Karate, Boxing, things like that. The internal arts are more holistic, a complete way of life like you said. If you think of boxing for example, it's great exercise, has it's uses, but how much is health really a focus there? Does it give you a way to approach daily life? Or calm the mind? A philosophy? Or beyond that, does it pay any attention to the levels beyond, what comes after this for example? Most Tai Chi nowadays doesn't have the martial focus. It's always there built in, but if you don't specifically train that part, it doesn't magically come. Similar to if you take up Cardio Kickboxing, you're more than likely going to get crushed if you go from that into the ring. You haven't developed timing, distance management, the ability to take a hit or avoid getting hit, etc. But it's still great exercise and great for health. Tai Chi is also low impact and scalable. It doesn't require much or any equipment. Which is why it's become increasingly popular with seniors. But it's also scalable in the other direction and can be as difficult as you want it to be. I use it kind of as the foundation for all other things.

@Joseph Groom It's one of those things that should just come naturally to us but in the modern age we really have to prioritize. Most people need to go to bed earlier, lol. You have the ability to make the changes. Usually they are "simple but not easy." We all tend to get pretty locked into our version of "the norm" and it can be very difficult to find a "new normal". The indoctrination is real and everywhere, ongoing. But it can be done. As with anything, one step at a time. You don't have to do a complete overhaul overnight. Small changes. Incremental becomes exponential. What is the first step? What is the easiest change you can make today? What is the most impactful? And then slowly tweak and adjust from there. Get the ball rolling... Build momentum... Pick up speed... And soar.
