@Rositsa Aleksandrova I don't know the Goosify rules well enough. LOL. There is always the self-promo thing but that's a very grey area. Especially considering Blitz. Maybe it's more ok during blitz and less ok during anti? IDK. I think the videos sound like something most people would want to see. So I guess it just depends on how they're done. Informational vs. promotional. What's the reason to share them here vs. in your own group vs. YouTube or similar or all of the above? Taking a vote is always an option.

@Ben Franke That and people often tend to ridicule what they don't understand because they don't really understand that they don't understand. But that 99% does a lot of the same so it just becomes a back and forth. They would do the same thing with something like Quantum Physics but not because of the jargon.

@Ben Franke That assumes that "group-think" is a bad thing. If we consider the Earth as a whole and beyond that the universe, group-think is what the evidence points to. What makes us think we are somehow individual or separate? That isn't really the issue anyway, that's how culture as we know it works, the issue is more "civilization" as we've come to know it and the thinking associated with that. When that began is unknown. What things looked like before that is also unknown. We still don't understand things like the Pyramids of Giza or Stonehenge or the Amazon. That also depends on your interpretation of "this far". How far have me made it? If you consider the supposed age of the Earth and the supposed reign of Dinosaurs, we are but a blip on the radar. What makes us better or worse than any other species? There is also the speculation that we may have done this "advanced civilization" thing already in the past. It may be somewhat cyclical in nature. Then there's the idea that we may have been influenced by species from another planet or even that we may have come from elsewhere. So there is a lot to unpack and a lot of unknown (at least in the conventional sense).
