A little bit of this and a little bit of that. You usually want to be prepared... But if you stay ready you ain't got to get ready.

@Rodney Thompson Outdoor Skills It's easier said than done, but it is the way.
New week. April is here.
One outdoor thing you're doing this month (April) that you haven't done yet.

@Valerie Horner So you'll grow right along with the herbs. That's dope! I'm not sure how all the pollination happens aside from bees so hopefully you can get all that sorted out or you might need a beekeeper suit, lol.

@Valerie Horner I'm not allergic to bees but I used to REALLY not like them at all as a kid. I'm not really sure why.🤷‍♂️ I've been stung a couple of times since and wonder what all the fuss was about. I'd like to get a beehive, face your fears and all that, plus honey and contributing to the local ecosystem. But I understand that bee allergies can be serious business for those who have them, so hopefully you can figure out something that works for you. A beekeeper suit might be a legit option tho if need be. I wonder how much something like that costs? Could be $10k for all I know, lol.
The "Old Faithful" Gear
We all have that one item. It’s patched, scratched, taped up, and probably smells like a decade of campfires. It might be obsolete by today's standards, but it goes on every single trip and you refuse to replace it. What is your oldest piece of gear, and how long have you had it? Drop it below.

@Rodney Thompson Outdoor Skills I've kept one since boot camp, lol. I just fixed the sleeve on one of my shirts a few months ago... it was a little rough, it's been years since I used it... but the job got done.😎
🏆 Member Spotlight — This Week
This week, I want to recognize Sharon Prahl. ✨ Sharon just hit a massive milestone in our community: Level 6 - Rarified Air! But what really stands out isn't just the rank; it's her attitude. As soon as she leveled up, she immediately turned around and thanked the community—shouting out members like @Jake Hill and @Jim Flach for helping her get those final points. She also put out a great reminder for everyone here, encouraging us all to check out the classroom, keep sharing our stories, and keep answering the polls. As she perfectly put it, "we learn so much from each other". That is exactly the kind of collaborative mindset that makes this campfire burn bright. Sharon is also building an incredible space over in her own community, Health Upgrader-. If you ever struggle with pain, lack of energy, or want to upgrade your health without the overwhelm, her group is dedicated to helping holistic-minded people gain physical and mental energy to fuel their missions. Sharon actually went from barely being able to walk a half-mile due to injury, to hiking the Grand Canyon in just 6 months—so she knows exactly what it takes to get back out on the trail! @Sharon Prahl — thank you for bringing your energy and for helping make this a space where we can all grow, learn, and stay in touch with the outdoor environments we love! 🤝 If you want to dial in your holistic foundation and get your energy right for the backcountry, her community is absolutely worth a look Link Here Where the Map Ends, The WILD begins!!
