Submit your songs for our Artist Assemble Community Playlist!
Hey everyone! Hope you’re all doing amazing! 🎵 I want to hear your music! Drop one song only (your absolute best!) in the comments, and I’ll be curating the top picks to feature on our exclusive community playlist. 🚨 Rules 🚨 1. ONE SONG PER ARTIST – This is your pitch, so make it count! 2. Don’t just drop a link – tell me the story behind your song. Why did you write it? What inspired you? 3. Imagine this is your pitch to Spotify. Write from the heart and stay authentic to you. (Pro tip: Avoid generic blog-style descriptions or writing as if someone else is telling your story – that's the biggest mistake artists make.) This is a great opportunity to practice your submission skills AND share your art with the community. Can’t wait to hear what you’ve got! ✨ SPOTIFY LINKS ONLY DEADLINE - MONDAY 20th JAN Playlist link : https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1a5PD1G65tPyPsmilLIAW9?si=84b218a7148b4254

This song was written at the beginning of 2023 and it came from a place of wanting to give up, leave everything behind and start anew, out of this headspace fell this song. After performing it live it took many shapes and forms depending on the mood of us and the crowd. We recently went on tour in November and it was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, sleepless nights, van breakdowns and all the logistics that come with having to self manage as an independent artist, I actually broke down before playing this show. All this emotion culminated into this live recording and I’ve made a video to capture the love for the family which we’ve built. https://youtu.be/YxwTm_s1D3c?si=oBm5cBaN_BRGH5ao
A career milestone and a true team effort.
This week, I hit a massive milestone by organising the biggest show I’ve ever been a part of. It was a wild ride—performing in both the support act and the main show while managing everything behind the scenes. But here’s the truth: I couldn’t have done it alone. From van breakdowns that kept us waiting until 5am in the freezing cold for recovery to the chaos of last-minute decisions, this show threw everything it could at us. We were all exhausted, stressed, and overwhelmed at times. To be honest at one point I broke down and cried under the stress. Mistakes were made, and tempers could have flared, but instead, we did something incredible—we supported each other. We worked through each other’s flaws, picked up the slack when someone needed help, and reminded each other why we were there in the first place. We laughed, cried, and kept pushing forward as a team. This wasn’t just about putting on a show; it was about leaning on the people you trust most to make something beautiful happen, even in the face of chaos. What I love most about this team—this family—is that our love for each other is bigger than the mistakes, the stress, or the pressure. When one of us fell, someone else was there to lift them up. That’s what made this show possible. To anyone chasing big dreams, here’s my advice: find your team. Find the people who will stick with you when things go wrong, who will celebrate the wins just as much as they’ll work through the losses. Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about what you achieve—it’s about who you achieve it with. Here’s to my team, my family, and the love that held it all together.

SUCCESS STORY
I joined this group and learned how to effectively run ads for my music. Keep in mind, royalties take a while to kick in, so you won't see immediate returns on your investment. But, I can definitely say that having a solid ad campaign alongside your music releases boosts your royalties. It's worth the wait! If you're serious about taking your music career to the next level, check out our Artists Academy. If you're not jumping on the calls with Issy then you're missing out on some quality knowledge. If your serious about this music thing you'll never know if something truly works if you're giving anything less than 100%.

Half way there (Road to 100k)
I've set myself the goal of hitting 100k by the end of the year with my band, and since joining Artists Academy, I've already grown by 20k. I think this growth has come not just from effective marketing, but also from staying consistent. Just like with social media, where everyone talks about posting regularly, I’ve applied the same idea to Spotify and other DSPs. The plan is to have a track for every six weeks for the next two years. Doing this has been a huge relief. I’m now planning ahead rather than scrambling to get things done last minute, which is way less stressful. It also gives me the chance to step back, listen with fresh ears, and really assess the quality of what I’m putting out. It’s been hard work, but it doesn’t feel like work because I love it. I love making music and creating memories with my mates. We're putting out an album on the 6th September, if you're interested in seeing the results let me know in the comments or sign up to artists academy.

@Corey Corner In this instance we're prioritising growing the catalogue number on DSPs because then that should feed your social platforms and provide you with content.
