Ventriloquism In The Classroom
For those of you who use ventriloquism for non-performance such as education or counseling, how it is received? And what is it like to use vent in that setting?

Hi Glen, each of my characters have their own personality so they greet in different ways, but my favourite character is my Axtell Turtle, I call him “Sheldon”. Sheldon doesn’t like to come out of his shell at first due to being shy, the kids find it hilarious and you can see the wonder on their face. When Sheldon comes out the child is so eager to bond with him so he greets first. I was interested in learning magic but I only learnt basic card tricks. At one point in my life I was a theatre actor and that’s where I learnt how to improvise the routine if I ever lost my place Ha ha ha! Hope that helps :))

@April Brucker that’s great! Who made the figure? Is he a soft character or a hard character with a head stick?
