There's a Virus Hitting Everyone's Communities Right Now...
I noticed it right after I got back from vacation... at first I had no clue what was going on. The symptoms were easy to spot... 𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀. And after talking to a few community members... the diagnosis was easy. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗸. But here's what I figured out that most community builders miss... The Summer Time Blues aren't actually about summer. Your members didn't stop caring about your community. They just woke up this morning thinking about their lives... ☀️ the vacation they just got back from. 🏚️ the new house they're moving into. 😒 the unexpected setback they're still recovering from. 📖 the new chapter they're trying to figure out. Your community members wake up every day thinking about 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗜𝗥 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀! And if you're not meeting them where they are right now... no amount of posting, prompting, or pushing is going to fix it. 𝗦𝗸𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 is where you'll find the cure for 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀. The people who join today will know exactly how to keep up the momentum 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻. Those who don't want the cure can tough it out and wait for it to pass... but summer is three months long. That's a long time to deal with the aches and pains of slow growth and very little engagement. 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗸𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 👉 https://www.skool.com/skool-homeroom-6736/about p.s. The Summer Time Blues don't strike only during the summer, it's something that's happening all the time. The community builders who figure this out now stop chasing momentum and start creating it — no matter what season their members are in. p.p.s. Drop a comment below and tell me... have you noticed any cases of The Summer Time Blues in your community?

Oh I'm all about the blues. Winter, Spring, Fall and Summer. The season of my moods is a different weather than the actual weather. I know some get SAD (seasonal affective disorder) but I'm usually happier in winter and as for the summer, it's a hot one here and I don't do well in heat. My friend is releasing a book tonight tho so i'm going to go to the book release. It's a poetry book called "I Want To Be Buried Standing Up". I haven't read it but it's published and I seen the cover, looks good.
Weekend Traffic Boost!🚦 Red Light, Green Light is back! 🚦
This weekends Redlight Green Light game is brought to you by The Smell of Money! Check out the upcoming Money Breath Call this Monday and join us! Visibility starts with clarity, right?! Before people can find you, click your link, join your community, read your blog, or follow your content, they need to understand what they're looking at. That's exactly what this game is designed to help you do. Two week's ago our Billboard Edition generated some fabulous feedback, and I know quite a few members have been tweaking and updating, so we're bringing it back for a third round this weekend! Submit either: 🟢 Your billboard (graphic) 🟢 Your one-liner (elevator pitch) 🟢 Or both! 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗼𝗻𝗲-𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘀? Think one (maybe two) short sentences that make someone want to know more, 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮'𝙧𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙙, but because they're curious! And your "billboard" can be: • Your Skool community card • Your website hero graphic • Your YouTube banner • A social media banner • A featured graphic you use to represent your business • Any visual that serves as your first impression If you're submitting a graphic that isn't your community billboard, please include a little context. Let us know where it lives and how people typically see it. For example: "This is my YouTube banner." "This is the hero section on my website." "This is my Skool community banner." That context helps members give more relevant feedback. 💡 If you have a Skool community, now is a great time to get your billboard working in your favor. With Skool continuing to increase visibility opportunities through Facebook, it's only a matter of time before they begin testing traffic from other sources too and your community card may be one of the first things people see before deciding whether to click! Here's how feedback works. Check out the graphics or one-liners below and drop a:

🚦 Red Light, Green Light: Billboard Edition! Let's get ready for the GOOOO!
With Skool making a big Facebook ad push, now is the perfect time to fine-tune what people see when your community shows up. This challenge is open to all community members. This weekend (June 13 & 14), there are 3 ways to play: 🟢 Submit your community billboard (community graphic card) 🟢 Submit your one-liner 🟢 Submit both If you're submitting more than one billboard or more than one one-liner, please put each one in its own comment so people can give focused feedback. Here's how to hand out feedback: Give a 🔴 Red Light: Tell them what isn't working, what's unclear, or what's causing confusion. Give a 🟡 Yellow Light: It's getting close, but something still needs clarity. Share where you're getting stuck or what questions are coming up. Give a 🟢 Green Light: It's working well. It's compelling. It makes you want to click, join, or learn more. 🎉𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱! Once you've received 🟢 𝗧𝗪𝗢 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 🟢 from other members, you can drop one link to your community, website, social profile, or other online space. Your job isn't just posting your billboard or one-liner. The magic of this game is in the feedback. Leave thoughtful, helpful feedback on as many submissions as you can (𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝟯 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀... but why not help as many as you can!?). Tell people what catches your attention, what feels unclear, and what you'd improve if you were seeing it for the first time. 🏆 As always, 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟰-𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁. The winner will be the person who gives the most thoughtful, helpful, and engaged feedback throughout the thread. Winner will be announced on Monday, June 15th! Let the game begin! Drop your billboard or one-liner below and let's make sure you're in the fast lane before the ads start rolling. 🚗💨
