ACT or SAT?
Hi everyone! I wanted to see everyones opinion on whether I should take the ACT or SAT. I'm not sure which one is more "impactful" for college apps but I'm currently studying for the SAT. Lmk what you think!

Don't quote me on this, but I think some STEM based schools (like Stanford) have a slight preference of ACT because of the science section. Although they have never ever said that. All colleges claim to treat the two equally and have no preference. Do what plays more to your strengths!

@Aparajitan Narasimhan Yeah, thought so. Kinda wondering whether I should study for an ACT now haha

@Joowan Park my close friend offers FREE SAT tutoring (he helped me get a 1570). His non-profit is @learntogive_ on Instagram All money comes from donations, and he donates everything to an underprivileged primary school in Thailand so that students can have shoes, stationery and lunch!

@Joowan Park I'm currently in the process of starting a food bank in La Vega, Caracas, Venezuela. I'm collaborating with a local church to provide food weekly for the poorest people in Venezuela All money comes from my web design earnings. Would you have any advice with starting it?
Pomodoro Technique
Pomodoro Technique is really helpful for when I can't focus. 1. Pick your task or whatever you need to accomplish 2. Put a 25 min timer and work on that task w/o any distractions 3. Give yourself a 5 min break after the 25 mins of studying 4. repeat This helps because it gives me the small 5 min break to look forward to so I can completely grind and lock in for the 25 mins.

Make sure to use progressive overload. I started with 25/5, worked up to 45/10, and now I can do 3-4 60/5s back-to-back without losing focus!!
Kinda Unrelated but do y'all have a certain routine y'all follow b4 a test?
Wsg, do y'all have like a special routine y'all do the day or the night b4 a test that usually works. For me: Night b4, I watch Preaching P's video on last minute test taking techniques just to refresh myself, then I wake up, do my morning routine, shower, pu to school, review in homeroom, then pu to the test whichever block it is pumping music. b4 the test, I say a prayer and then I cook. wbu guys?

Eat loads of fibre & carbs before bed. Early sleep. Wake up to alarm. Pray. Brush teeth while watching an exam content recap video. Shower with worship music. Pray again. Leave the house. (I don't eat breakfast unless it is a late exam because food clouds my brain. Just loads of water!!)
