Google Maps wants North defined in each shot – but most buildings are not aligned to the cardinal points. When I start shooting a tour, I face my favorite wall, then do a screen capture of my cellphone compass showing me how many degrees from North that wall faces. It's usually something like North is -17° from this wall, or some equally random number of degrees. Could you have a "degrees" widget beside the CloudPano compass so that I can orient my initial wall to "North" then with the widget, have feedback so show when I've rotated the image -17°? This way, all the panos can be consistently corrected for their true-North point. Google Maps will be happy, and there won't be any strange orientation anomalies in the Google tour.
