Session 3
Hi everyone, I hope you all enjoyed today’s session! The Zoom video and Member document are now available in the Classroom, so please let me know if you have any issues accessing either of them. 😊 We are going to be opening up another cohort starting the week of 5/6 May and we would love your help spreading the word. If you know anyone who you think would benefit from the Lab, whether that’s a fellow author, a small business owner, or anyone who has been curious about using AI more effectively in their work, we would really appreciate you passing on the details. We will keep the same small group format so spots will be limited. We would also love to hear from you. If the Lab has been useful so far, even just a sentence or two about what you have got out of it would mean a lot to us. We are building out our community and having real words from real people makes such a difference. You can drop your thoughts right here in the comments, send them to me by email, or pop them in a direct message, whatever is easiest for you. 😊 Thank you so much for being part of this first cohort. You are helping us shape something really special. πŸ™Œ Tracey & Robert

Hi Tracey and Robert, I can't tell you how much I have benefited from these sessions; they have been mind-blowing. Session 3 particularly proved to be very helpful. I'm looking forward to completing the Brain Clone. Really looking forward to the next session.
Week 1 - done! πŸŽ‰
Thank you all so much for showing up this morning (and evening, and night πŸ˜„). It was such a great first session and I honestly loved every minute of it. For anyone who couldn't make it today, no worries at all, everything is waiting for you in the classroom. ****** πŸ“Ή Recording - the full session is now uploaded so you can watch, pause, and revisit anything you want to try. πŸ“„ Prompt Toolkit - the Week 1 handout with every prompt from today is also in here. You don't need to remember anything - it's all there to copy and paste. ***** We covered a lot today - the prompt progression, personalisation, image prompts, and a sneak peek at Custom GPTs. And then that expert panel moment... I think a few minds were blown. 🀯 We ran a little over time so we didn't get to have everyone build their own Custom GPT live in the session. That is your mission for this week! πŸ‘‰ Before next week, have a go at: βœ… Building your own Custom GPT using the GPT Creator link in the handout - try the health and wellbeing coach, a writing assistant, a travel planner, whatever feels useful to you right now. Drop your GPT name in the comments below when you've done it β€” I'd love to see what you build! βœ… Setting up or updating your Personalisation / Custom Instructions in ChatGPT. If you haven't done this yet, now is the time. (And if you have, go back and review it - you might want to tweak it after today.) βœ… Try the Expert Panel prompt with a real problem from your business. Run both steps - design the panel first, then run the discussion. I'd love to hear what experts it suggested for you! ***** One question for you πŸ‘‡ What was the one thing from today that surprised you most? Drop it in the comments - it takes 30 seconds and honestly helps us shape what we focus on in the coming weeks. See you all next week! πŸ™Œ Warm regards, Tracey and Robert

Hi Tracey, I thoroughly enjoyed our first session. I learned a lot. I still have a lot of work to do. I've created 3 custom GPTs after a lengthy conversation with ChatGPT to better understand my interests, skills, etc. My custom GPTs are: #1. Non-Fiction Market Gap Finder: I have already used this one to brainstorm ideas and identify the genres that suit me best. #2. Amazon Ads Analyzer for KDP: I have not used this one yet. #3: AI Manuscript Refiner: to use for blink books, and also after the editor/formatter is done with my manuscript. Next, I am planning to try the expert panel. So looking forward to our next session. By the way, I am not sure where to find the recording or the prompts, can you help? Thank you, Jackie

@Rhonda Parda I did see the prompts there but not the recording
⚑ Your Week 1 wins (and disasters) - share them here!
Hey everyone! πŸ‘‹ We are just a few days into Week 1 and we would love to hear how you are getting on! Have you had a chance to try any of the following since our first session? 🎯 Tweaking your prompts to get better results βš™οΈ Setting up or updating your Custom Instructions πŸ€– Building or experimenting with a Custom GPT ✨ Something else entirely that you tried Drop a comment below and let us know what you tried, what worked, and what surprised you! There are no wrong answers here β€” even β€œI tried it and it went sideways” is worth sharing because we can work through it together. πŸ˜„ Tracey & Robert

I have had a great experience with ChatGPT. I have given lot a lot of information about me so that it is now aware of my interests, strength and things I am struggling with. It helped me discover things about myself that are very useful for these projects. I am really enjoying this.
πŸ“Œ Start Here - Introduce Yourself

@Tracey Longfield Hi, I am Jackie, from Houston, Texas. I am a nonfiction author and publisher focused on creating practical, empowering books on personal growth, emotional wellness, and self-sufficient living. I regularly use ChatGPT and Claude to analyze manuscripts done by Blink Book, and I also use Claude to evaluate the work of my editors and formatters. I have also used Claude to review the German translation of one of my books. I would like AI to help me solve the problems I have with Amazon Ads.
