Monthly Q&A Time
Welcome to our Monthly Q&A! 🧡 This is your space to ask anything about metal clay, tools, techniques, firing, or your current projects. I'd also love to hear what you'd like to learn next, so if there's a tutorial or course you'd like me to create, let me know! Feel free to share photos of your latest creations too, we all love seeing what everyone is making, and it's a great way to inspire each other. Whether you have a quick question, need a bit of advice, or just fancy a chat with the community, this is the place to do it. I can't wait to catch up with you all! 🧡

I love using a wet wipe, it softens the top layer just enough to really smooth everything out. What holes, do you have a picture? 👍

@Tracey Bickle Absolutely I can do that 👍
Kiln cherry finally popped!
Guess who has finally popped their kiln 🍒!!!!! Eeeek. After staring at it for a couple of months I've finally bitten the bullet and gone for it! I'm waiting for everything to cool down before I go near it now. :) so excited but also terrified. I feel like I don't know what I'm doing half the time but so far I've been able to successfully torch fire silver with no mistakes. Now I'm using my kiln to try copper clay!

@Patricia Collins I’ve got the prometheus pro one mini and the paragon sc2. feel free to ask me any question you want to know about these 👍

@Patricia Collins I’ve had the Prometheus since I started and it was a great first kiln. It’s small and more affordable as a first time. The sc2 is much better and better to fire in bulk plus it’s programmable which is lush!!. The extra space is great for base metal as I can fire bigger stuff like blows.
