What do you guys look for when receiving midi, raw DI or vocal stems to produce? I’m talking the details as well: your opinions on wavs vs mp3s, preferred Hz and whether you think it matters, dual or quad tracked guitars, organization of files etc. My input would be to include an exported tempo time map to accurately transfer time sig changes and bpm between DAW’s.

Drop your recent mixes below. Completed, incomplete, work in progress, I want to hear where we’re at so I can see what I can focus on 💪🏼

Planning some cool stuff for this first month coming up Would love to know specifically, what do you feel like you WANT to learn more about? Vocal editing? Guitar editing? Vocal tuning? Vocal layering? Synths? Kick drums? Tell me

My name is Jake 🤟🏻 I'm in a brutal metalcore band called Reap What You Sow. The reason I want to improve my production & mixing is to be capable of taking care of my mixes properly, and to become more in tune with the feeling of the art. My DREAM as a musician is to live within it. look forward to talking more with you all

Just added "Quick Lessons" under the Classroom section Here, you'll find shorter and more specific videos on things like: Editing guitars, tuning vocals, drum programming, and more 😎 Just dropped Guitar editing and vocal tuning + harmony creation in there today! Big thanks to @Kyle Putman and Keeping Secrets for letting me use their song
