Living in the world
11 Dear friends, I warn you as “temporary residents and foreigners” to keep away from worldly desires that wage war against your very souls. 12 Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbors. Then even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honorable behavior, and they will give honor to God when he judges the world. Tyndale House Publishers. (2015). Holy Bible: New Living Translation (1 Pe 2:11–12). Tyndale House Publishers. Daddy, The struggle is real. Every day my biggest problem faces me I the mirror. Yet what I do next will determine the outcome. I have tried to "whip myself into shape" The flesh never sanctifies the flesh. This tactic made me a ethier proud or aloof, delighted or despairing. I have tried to forget the mirror -- I have tried to avoid long look in the mirror. What I have come to is I have to live in reality. 1. This life is temporary 2. I am intended to live differently but sin got a hold on me and disrupted the design. 3. There is a WAR and my heart and soul is a battlefield. 4.I have no natural power to win long term campaigns. 5. I MUST come to Jesus and surrender daily, hour by hour, moment by moment. 6. Looking to Jesus and yielding to His spirit will bring victory. 7. I become what I behold -- my sin or my saviour. 8.Thank God for His friendship and companionship and focus to walk it out Daddy, I'm fresh today. I surrender. I yield. Help me walk like I am your kido.

Timely reminder- we have good intentions, as we turn to Him and seek His presence we can face the struggles of the day, moment by moment . On our own it is like Romans 7. We want to but can’t do it on our own. Why would we want to?

Thank you!
TRUST GOD
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3: 5-6 Lets pray this; every place I put a blank I invite you to put your name in the blank and personalize it. Father God, Daddy, Lord Jesus, Precious Holy Spirit, I, _________________, place my full confidence and hope in You, for I know you and I know you know me! YOU alone are completely reliable, so I fall freely in placing all my trust in you. I ask you to not let me lean on my own understanding; an understanding that has years of experience, (even christian experiences) and years of instruction (even religious instruction), let me not lean on them for support as if they are a cane, crutch, walker or wheelchair. Let me get convicted that it is all unreliable. Let me not put any weight on those things. Let me solely seek you and depend on you. Today, with every breath and every single choice I make, (what clothes to wear, what food to eat, what activity to do, what people to see), let me be in constant communication through internal praying, asking where are you in this and what is your direction in this? Let this type of prayer be like natural breathing. This is what it means to be in relationship. Not just words to read but a living, breathing, walking, talking relationship with you the Holy Spirit. In a world of constant planning I make wide spaces for you to interrupt, change and redirect my paths. You alone know what is best for me and what will accomplish your good pleasure, so I surrender my plans to you the master planner. Direct me today. I rejoice! Yes, Rejoice, for I _____________, TRUST YOU.
