1 contribution to The Tarot Circle!
Hey!
I’m Jacinta, 28. I’ve been doing tarot reads for a while now, mostly for myself. It’s something I’ve naturally gravitated towards over time, especially when I need clarity or guidance. I tend to pull cards when I’m trying to make sense of things or just need a different perspective, so it’s become a bit of a grounding tool for me. I wouldn’t say I’m brand new, but I also know I’ve got a lot to learn. My favourite card is The High Priestess, I’ve always felt really drawn to her. I like the whole intuition, inner knowing, and trusting what you feel rather than just what you see. That side of tarot resonates with me a lot. The biggest thing I struggle with is remembering all the meanings and not overthinking everything. I feel like I’ll get an initial read or feeling, but then I second guess it and end up reaching for guidebooks or keywords to “confirm” it. I want to get to a point where I can trust what I’m picking up, read more naturally, and not feel like I need to double check everything. I’m also trying to understand the deeper layers of the cards, not just the surface meanings, but how they connect in a spread, how intuition and structure work together, and how to read more fluidly instead of rigidly. I’m here to learn, build confidence, and actually get better at reading instead of staying stuck in that “I kinda know what I’m doing but not fully” stage. Keen to connect, learn from others, and keep improving 🔮✨

@Rachael Crawford Thank you, I really appreciate that! It actually helps hearing that even experienced readers still struggle with trusting those intuitive hits, makes me feel a lot less in my head about it. I’ll definitely start getting involved in the daily prompts, I feel like that’s exactly what I need to build confidence and stop overthinking everything. Looking forward to learning and improving here 🤍

@Jeff Peden Thank you, I really appreciate your comment. It actually made me feel a lot better about where I’m at with it. That “I know the cards but don’t fully trust myself yet” stage is exactly how it feels for me. I like the way you explained it too, learning together rather than feeling like you need to know everything straight away. That takes a bit of pressure off. And the way you described it being a lot to take in at first is so accurate, it really does feel like that sometimes. I’m keen to get involved more and see how much I can grow with it over time. Really glad I found the group 😊

Learning, building, and growing every day. Life’s messy, but I’m making it mine.
