Decrypting the confusing language that is encountered when trying to move crypto between wallets/exchanges. I'm to afraid to do it because I get confused. Also, when crypto is transferred between exchanges, should it be assumed that your average cost converts to the current market value?

@Levi Crypto what I meant by that was if my average cost on XRP is $2.00 and I migrate from exchange A to exchange B, does my average purchase price change from that $2.00 to whatever the current price is at the time of the migration?
