@Khent Lj We made it 💨… Trip from Virginia to Orlando, Florida! Snacks were consumed, all kinds of music, and some games in the car. I really think a long car ride is the only way to play Battleship. 😉
How Has Your Strike Zone Experience Been?
So far over 700+ people have taken the Strike Zone Quiz! I'm blown away. There are some major updates coming Monday, but I want your honest feedback first: Quick questions: - What did you like about it? - What could be better? - What impact has it had on you (if any)? Drop your thoughts below. And while you're here, share your archetype. If you see someone whose archetype complements yours, let them know. Your next business partner could be one comment away. You never know! 👇 Here's how archetypes compliment each other: 🤖 Builder → pair with a 💼 Closer (you build, they sell) 🎨 Creator → pair with a 🧠 Strategist (you design, they direct) 💼 Closer → pair with a 🤖 Builder (you sell, they deliver) 🧠 Strategist → pair with a 🎨 Creator (you plan, they execute) 🎓 Teacher → pair with a 🤖 Builder (you explain, they implement) ⚡ Hybrid → you fit everywhere; focus is very important for you

Lesson #6: The One Thing That Actually Makes You Happy 📚
Where does true joy come from? Harvard ran a study on happiness for 100 years. They followed 724 people from adolescence through their entire lives; tracking their health, careers, relationships, and overall happiness. The conclusion? Money didn't predict happiness. Fame didn't predict happiness. Success didn't predict happiness. Relationships did. The people who were happiest, healthiest, and most fulfilled weren't the richest or most successful ones. They were the ones who had deep, meaningful relationships. Not hundreds of shallow connections. Not LinkedIn networks. Real friendships. People who knew them. People who cared. This is why I built this community. This is why I encourage everyone to be present, on and off of skool. It's why I try and focus on the community just as much as the classroom. Yes, we're here to make money. Yes, we're here to scale. But at the core, we're here to build WITH people, not just around them. The wins matter. But the people you meet along the way matter more. So let me ask: How many people in this community do you actually KNOW beyond their profile? Think about it. Then DM one person you want to know better this week, or call them out here. You never know what will happen. Or tag someone in this community who's made a difference for you. Tell them why. Let them know they matter. Because at the end of the day, true joy doesn't come from the revenue. It comes from the relationships. (Click here to view a video of the study if you're interested, I thought it was very cool) I'll be spending as much time as I can today catching up on all the threads and reviewing skools

@David Iya Thanks for sharing this and the link to the study info. I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and I love these longitudinal studies. Here's my take: I've become a casual, observing student of happiness since my 20s and here's where I landed over a decade ago... Happiness is a choice. We can experience unpleasant emotions but we get to choose whether or not to follow unpleasant feelings. Warming up our heart to connect with other people is certainly one way to take action and create meaning in our lives. Proximity often dictates the number of people we connect with the most, and I see Skool as a game-changer in the way to bond with people. There's so many interesting voices I would never have heard, and more to discover. For 2026, I'm excited to hear people's stories. If anyone wants to tell me their story, please reach out in DMs and let's set a date to chat in February. (I'm traveling the rest of this month and then holding a call for any Skoolers to pop in on my birthday, Jan. 30, just to say "hi." You can also come to that if you want... send me a message for the link so I don't look like a spammer, please.) Here's to building some amazing new friendships as we pursue our entrepreneurial callings!
Hey fellow Builders!
Hey, my name is Sam. I own multiple businesses outside of the tech industry. I have always had the entrepreneurial mind set. I grew up with no technology until I was a teenager now 25. I used chatGPT for the first time this year. In the last 70 days or so I started an AI Agency and SaaS Company. My goals is to continue to grow as a builder and to help others do the same! So grateful to be here with all of these amazing minds!

@David Iya 🙌🏻 Yes, I loved my analog childhood and technology has grown rapidly and changed every year of my life since the internet age. In high school I went to libraries to research things, we had encyclopedias at our house, and internet was dial-up AOL. @Samuel Kern Do you think not having tech tools helped you build authentic intelligence in ways that made learning tech no big deal when you started using it?

@David Iya 🙌🏻 yes! I might not be bringing the encyclopedias to my house but we do have lots of books. And, I do limit tech stuff for my kids.
Regarding Friday's Game Night
I'm tallying up answers from Never Have I Ever 🎡 Winner Gets a 24 hr Pinned Post! If you haven't revealed your answers, please do so! If you haven't voted, go vote on any answers that haven't been revealed! Some people still haven't confessed and the suspense is killing me. Also rereading through everyone's is absolutely hilarious, you all are wild. 😂 Current Leaderboard (with only 21/38 reveals): - @Tim Stewart is currently leading with 14 points - @Iris Ocariza and @Barbi Wiest are currently tied at 13 points Wild Confessions So Far: - Someone made out in the CEO's office - Someone stayed awake 51 hours straight - Someone broke into the WRONG HOUSE to repo a TV - Someone put a person in a body bag (at hospital night shift) - Someone's been married 3 times (41 years with current spouse though!)

@David Iya 🤣 I love the confessions. And I think it’s easier to spot my lies because most of them are all true but with just a slight twist. I’m not good at lying 🤣… This reminds me of middle school in the wholesome, fun ways. Thanks for pulling out the fun things to make my life less crazy.
