My name is Ismael, and I am happy to be here. I have just arrived, and this is my first week. I am from Portland, Maine. I believe that technology is important for children and can be very helpful for learning. However, I also believe that rules are necessary. At home, I organize my children’s screen time. They are allowed to use electronic devices for a limited time. Outside of that time, we focus on family discussions, shared activities, and rest. For me, balance is very important: technology is useful, but family time and communication are essential for children’s development.
