Pres session
Completed my first training session and feel so gassed from it (physically and emotionally) ๐Ÿ˜… Focused on some pre and plyo technique improvement suggested in the last call but know itโ€™s not quite there yet. Also managed to add it into a line at the end ๐Ÿ˜

Physical Assessment - Start
Got mine filmed yesterday after work and really seeing how much work needs done on my climb ups. Static climb up was such a struggle, but found the dynamic climb up much easier. The red box is taller than me standing with my arms above my head. Also found it really weird how my standing pre was 11.5 of my feet but could only manage 12 for running pre and step in plyo out pre. I found it hard to commit to the running pre even with it being barely off the floor. 1. Standing pre 2. Running pre 3. Step in, plyo out pre 4. Static climb up 5. Dynamic climb up Keen to start seeing improvement!

Physical Assessment #2: Double Kongs
Double Kongs is brand new territory for me and was pretty terrifying at first, so cheers to my Day 1 ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜… If y'all have the time and energy, would love feedback from y'all of how I can practice this better. -- I used Ronnie Street Stunt's Double Kong tutorial to help me get started and I noticed that it got easier as I allowed my feet to pump into the air, rather than keeping my knees close to my chest. I felt like I was able to travel farther. Wins for me: 1. Simply attempting this 2. Progressively getting farther in my double kongs Next practice, I'm going to focus on three things: 1. Picking up my hips and feet after my first kong launch, instead of kicking them back like a donkey 2. Scooping my hands and body forward before putting my hands on the table for the kong (this way I continue my momentum), rather than stopping it by planting my feet before starting the double kong 3. Officially measure it b/c I totally forgot lol I definitely need a lot more work tbh, but I think this was a great start ๐Ÿซฑ๐Ÿผโ€๐Ÿซฒ๐Ÿพ

Thatโ€™s a hefty bench youโ€™re using! How big is it? Honestly each time you went through you were managing to get farther which is amazing progress for your first time trying! Double kongs arenโ€™t something Iโ€™ve attempted often and Iโ€™ve only managed to coach children through smaller distances. Youโ€™re doing so well with it! Keen to see you achieve it!

Are the physical assessments meant to be strict e.g. standing long jump or an actual standing precision or running precision?
