The best CMS tool out there
Up until recently, I always used Strapi to build simple APIs and admin dashboards. It’s great—super straightforward and easy to use. But I ran into two big issues: 1. It’s not easy to white-label, which is a dealbreaker if you’re building apps for clients. 2. You have to deploy it on a compute platform like EC2, which can be a pain. Then Payload 3.0 came out, and it’s been a game-changer. Now, you can just run a single command to add an admin dashboard to your Next.js project, and it’s accessible at /admin right out of the box. You can fully customize it, share authentication between your app and Payload, and even set up role-based access control. It’s honestly so much simpler and cleaner. I do not have any affiliation with payload, it’s open source and free https://payloadcms.com/docs/getting-started/what-is-payload
