I'm trying to work on my distribution from the floor and it's getting better but sometimes my shinpads move and get on the way even when I have taped them. My dad said I should look for small ones is he correct?

This will be my first season with this club to attend end of season awards and is being held on Sunday. My old club used to do bbq's and picnics. Kick around and bouncy castles We used to also have 4 trophies other then the participants trophy that everyone got. Apparently my new club will have a kick about if it's dry and you can get a tea or coffee and there is only 3 additional trophies. Definitely doesn't sound as fun 😕 🤣🤣 What do your club do?
