🔥 ONE TO WATCH TOMORROW — THE SPEAKER’S EDGE MASTERCLASS
I have to say I cannot recommend enough that you get to this event. I’ve just had the loveliest conversation with Danielle Drew, who is running tomorrow’s Speaker’s Edge Masterclass with our very own Des Drekett. And I have to say, Danielle is absolutely lovely and she really knows her stuff when it comes to using speaking to grow your business. Danielle went from being terrified of public speaking herself to speaking internationally on stage, online and on camera. Now she helps business owners use speaking as an actual growth channel, not simply something you do once, feel rather pleased with yourself about, and then wonder what happened to everybody afterwards. 😂 And her client results are pretty impressive. One client secured $1.2 million from one talk, another generated a $77,997 launch from a 45-minute workshop, and another converted 13 out of 20 attendees into warm leads. Tomorrow, Danielle and Des will be looking at how you can turn your expertise into authority, hold the attention of your audience and move listeners towards becoming qualified prospects, without all the pitching and chasing. And THAT is particularly interesting to me. Because we talk a lot here at Skool Events Daily about getting people to your events, but what happens once you've actually got them there matters just as much. 📅 Tuesday, 8th September ⏰ 3pm–4pm New York time You can find Danielle and her details here You can attend the event through this link. If speaking, workshops, masterclasses or presentations are part of how you grow your business, this could be a very useful hour to spend tomorrow. 🔥

Highly recommended.
🔥 𝗠𝗬 𝗛𝗢𝗧 𝗧𝗜𝗣: 𝗧𝗔𝗞𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗜𝗡𝗩𝗜𝗧𝗘 𝗧𝗢 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗠
At our first Coffee, Chat & Collab, we all shared an event tip that others could go away and try. Mine was a really simple one. 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁. Don’t just put your event in the calendar, write a post about it and then sit there hoping everyone spots it. They probably won’t. People are busy. They miss posts. They forget what they saw yesterday. And sometimes they fully intend to come to something and then completely forget about it. 😂 So when I have an event coming up, I message as many members as I reasonably can and send them the 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸. Not a huge sales pitch. Just a friendly personal invitation letting them know what’s happening and giving them an easy way to join. Because there’s quite a difference between someone scrolling past: “𝗜’𝗺 𝗿𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆.” …and receiving: “𝗜 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀, 𝘀𝗼 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂.” One is an announcement. The other feels like an invitation. And if you want people at your event, sometimes you need to stop waiting for them to find it… 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺. ☕🔥 Have you tried personally inviting your members to your events?

Yes, great advice. I message the most engaged members 2 days before the event. I start emailing my email subscribers 10 days before the event.

Get your event registered through the Event Registration Form, for VIP members only. Remember, you don’t have to wait until next week. If you have something coming up in the future, get it submitted early and start building awareness. If you want your events included in the Weekly Bulletin and receive the extra visibility that comes with it, check out VIP. VIP is $9/month or $90/year through VIP membership. Let’s get your events out where people can find them.

@Des Dreckett Hi there!
Beyond cat pee and green grass
Yes, I'm talking about wine! Some Sauvignon Blancs are famous for exhibiting fruity notes like grapefruit or passion fruit, but others like it greenish. That's what we'll explore tomorrow, in my free class: a sensory deep dive into the sensory qualities of Sauvignon Blanc . We'll explore: 1- The Origin Story: From the Loire Valley to the global stage. 2- The "Aroma Engines": Understanding the compounds that define the nose—from green bell pepper to struck flint. 3- The Winemaker’s Dial: How harvest timing and winemaking choices drastically shift the wine’s character. I designed the class whether you want to deepen your wine knowledge or become a more informed consumer. Class Details: When: Wednesday, August 12, 2026 Time: 4:00 PM EDT / 1:00 PM PDT Book your free spot This is NOT a tasting class, but a prelude to the wine tasting I'll host later this month in the Curious Palates community, Hope to see you there.

@Heather Wilson I'm sorry wine is no longer an option for you. But you can always smell 😉 and train your sense of smell.
