i practically lost all hope when he took my first pawn. so I didn't really care about the game anymore (dont actually lose hope after using one pawn). I have been really inactive in the chess community and lost most interest in chess, but my school held a chess competition and nobody except a few people knows i play chess, i made it into the chess competition by surprising (beating) everyone in the qualifier, they were pretty average in chess and they don't really play chess that often, they were probably around 600 elo at best.
