I was trying to get funding for myself. Something about the process is off and seems sketchy for me. I told them my business concept and they accepted it. They told me that they will build a website, and they will do market research. Since I didn't have a website yet, they will build it for me. There was no contract to sign, which I made me nervous and uneasy. They sent me website forms. I paid. There was another small fee international charge in addition to the fee I paid which I was told by my bank when I was disputing the charge that it was related to the website charges. They didn't ask any documentation from me, and they didn't give me any paperwork either. When I requested a contract, terms and conditions in writing upfront they said each stage of financing there is a different contract, and I'll get contract when that time comes. I prefer getting paperwork upfront and knowing everything, terms, conditions upfront before starting anything so I can know if it will work for me or not. Based on these things so far, they don't seem legit to me. The guy I spoke to says he's in Florida, but my PayPal says it's an overseas account. They are not upfront, transparent and honest according to my experience. Maybe there is someone with a better experience who can tell you differently.
