Happy New Year to all my sweet members 🤍
More and more, this doesn’t feel like just a group! It feels like being surrounded by people who share the same passion, the same love for creating, and the same eye for beauty. There’s a sense of connection here that goes beyond tutorials and techniques—and that truly matters! Thank you for being here, for sharing your energy, your creativity, and your kindness. Together, we’re creating not just beautiful cake toppers, but a warm, inspiring space where it feels good to belong. As we step into this new chapter, let’s leave the pressure behind. No big goals to chase, no need to push or prove anything. Just a clear intention: to enjoy the process, to create with ease, and to be gentle with ourselves along the way. This community is a creative space. What it becomes depends on how we show up—curious, kind, open, and supportive. Together, we have the freedom to shape it into something beautiful, inspiring, and safe for creativity to flow. Wishing you a year filled with calm confidence, quiet joy, and the simple pleasure of creating something lovely—one small step at a time. Happy decorating Kika

What Swimming and Fondant Modeling Have in Common?
I learned two completely different skills in two completely different ways: swimming and making fondant figures. Learning to swim took me about two years. I stopped and started again many times. I got sick. My daughter got sick. My period came. Some days I just didn’t feel like going to the pool. Other days the weather was perfect for a walk in the park instead of chlorine and laps. Life kept happening, and progress was slow, interrupted, and messy. But I kept going back. Learning to model fondant figures was the opposite. In 2017 I was obsessed with becoming good at it. I practiced every free minute I had—literally. When my daughter was sleeping, I was modeling. When my husband took her for a walk, I was modeling. I did this for months, intensely and consistently, until my hands could do exactly what my mind imagined. Confidence came fast because practice was constant. What’s the same in both stories? I didn’t QUIT! That’s the most important part. Not the speed. Not the method. You can learn something fast, with intense practice. You can learn something slowly, with pauses, because that’s what life allows you to do. Both ways are valid. Both ways work. The only thing that doesn’t work is giving up. How you choose to learn is entirely up to you—and whichever way you choose is the right one, as long as you don’t stop. My very first fondant Figurines!!!! Please don’t laugh 😊
I’m sharing it on purpose! The only difference between me and you today is : Practice and the right techniques. Nothing else. No talent. No magic hands. I didn’t start by creating beautiful figures. I started exactly here — with mistakes, wrong proportions, and a lot of frustration. What changed everything was learning how to build figures correctly and repeating the process again and again. If you’re struggling right now, this is proof that you’re not behind. You’re simply at the beginning. And I’ll show you the techniques that actually work — step by step.
