My parents would invite me to make a wish before I blew out the candles, and that was always my silent prayer. At 68, it's still what I wish for. I believe peace begins in a little boy or girl's secret wish and continues in how we connect with one another from the heart. Happy Saturday, Portal Pals, I am deeply grateful for your presence here. First, can I still call you 'Portal Pals' since I changed our community name from The Language Portal to Sacred Writing? I mean the energy is the same, and we are still accessing and writing in The Portal. It's the means by which people discover us who don't know the magic of this community and the sacred writing session. Today's shoutout is to Karin Davis who is at the top of the 7-day and 30-day leaderboard. Not only that but she's top of the 7-day leaderboard in Self-Publishing Skool. I'd like to ce Karin is an author and writer of non-fiction, such as Star Lineages. and is looking for guidance to publish her books. She is on Skool to raise our vibration, bringing love and harmony, and share her work as an acrylic artist of aquatic sea life and lighthouses. The moment I heard about Dolly Parton yesterday, I thought about Miley Cyrus. I think we shall all remember where we were and the clasping of our chest when we heard that Dolly had transitioned into the Spiritual Realm. This is part of what I wrote in this morning's Co-Writing Session. First, I looked up her birthday, January 19, 1946 and saw she was an 8 of Diamonds - The Sun Card. Of course, she was. Dolly's Light will continue to shine bright. She was a legend and her legacy will continue to ripple through the generations. Dear to my heart was her generosity in providing millions of children the gift of receiving books. The Imagination Library has provided children with 300 million books to date, and was inspired in 1998 by her father who couldn't read or write. Dolly's voice was angelic, and she was a prolific songwriter with 3000 songs to her credit. More than anything she was an extraordinary storyteller. Her light and lightheartedness will be missed by all who loved and admired her. My heart goes out to her family and all who Dolly embraced as family. We shall always love you, Dolly.
