@Jesse Hull Understood, and I'm doing that — it's clearly working, so thank you. I focus a lot on Spotify because I already have a Spotify for Artists profile and know the backend well. I know payments come in from many platforms via DistroKid, but Spotify is the one I can actually look at and measure. So what I meant by my earlier comment is this: to grow Spotify income faster, we need more songs crossing the 1,000-stream threshold, since that's when a song starts earning. Right now I see about 40K streams in the last 28 days on Spotify for Artists, but only a fraction of that comes from songs that are already past 1,000 streams and actually monetized — because we keep adding new songs to the catalog, the streams get spread thin across all of them. So am I understanding you correctly — your approach is just to keep releasing as many songs as possible (with keywords, quality control), and let them build up on their own over time? Am I just overthinking and overcomplicating the process?

@Jacob Roman That's what I use to promote. I promote a playlist of our songs. Its why we went from 10 streams to over 40K streams per 28 day period in a matter of 2 months- but since I keep adding tracks to the platform so I don't see how the whole catalog is supposed to keep up. Maybe I'm just overthinking and I need to keep doing what I'm doing. Grinding and being patient. It's been incredibly fast.I guess I was just overthinking..

1000 Spotify Streams
My husband and I started creating music for our artists and we hit the 1000 streams milestone on our first 2 tracks today with others following closely behind with 11,300 streams on our profile. Head down, working focused. UPDATE- 1 month later Just one month after this original post, we have hit 1000 streams on Spotify for 14 more tracks, we currently have almost 40K streams on our profile in the last 28 days and are on-track to hit 1000 streams on 6 more songs this month. Looking to continue and accelerate the growth of our duo's artist profile. So grateful I stumbled upon @Jesse Hull 's videos on YT a few months back.

Real Talk Real Quick
Hey everyone, I want to say this real quick because this free community has grown fast and I don’t want anybody thinking I’m ignoring them.
