So we went to the vets to have a check up and the vet seems to thing luns has been at her stitches but she hasn't as she's not even bothered by it at all. I think she's damaging it when she lies on her side as she's thay unfazed now. She does has a cone and a donut but I don't see why she should wear it if she's not going at her wound. Over all she's fine and has been switched to neutered food that she's not too keen on but she'll get used to it soon.....hopefully.

Luna has been home for almost 24hrs now and she's doing beautifully. I jave noticed changes in her behaviour as she once was a kitty who was very independent and didn't like a fuss at all but now she's all about that love, if it wasn't for all the photos I have of her I would think she was a different kitty. I was told she would be sleepy for the first 24hrs but she's been up and about as normal and more playful which is nice anyway. I wish I did purchase a body suit for her as she doesn't like the cone but she's going to have to wear it now as she won't leave her wound alone now as I'm writing. Her apatite has increased which I suspect is from her medication. She's been eating white fish as advised by the vet as she needs something light after surgery and I fear she'll never go back to her normal food 😅 I'll keep posting updates of my dear Luny.

It's little Luna's spay day tomorrow so we're prepping her for an easy day tomorrow. - She isn't allowed food past midnight tonight - The travel crate is taken out ready and she is familiar with it so she isn't stressed - Safe spaces are made for her as her brother (staffy) likes to play rough so she needs a safe place to recover and hide from him - House will remain warm for her - Treats are needing to be bought so she can have something to take her mind off of the pain - Nails to be clipped so no accidents happen with her stitches If you have any tips for pre-op I would love to hear them 🥰
