Level Up: Making Trading Your Own Thing
Hey all! I hope everyone's having a great week! I recently had my monthly session with one of my Boardroom Accountability Pod. Albeit, a small group, I thought it was a fantastic session, and a lot more traders could benefit from the knowledge drop! We discussed individual trading strategies, particularly emphasizing independence and self-reliance over blindly copying strategies. We covered issues around fear and risk management, highlighted the importance of appropriate risk-reward (RR) ratios, and discussed various technical setups. We also addressed challenges with managing emotions in trading, particularly the fear of losing, and suggested methods to overcome this through structured strategies and backtesting. You can find the recording below: https://us06web.zoom.us/rec/play/avqqMDbfXM2CsvCLRkvmixd-_brF3r2TrJvuEf-dog0MEo5G049xb6iCAS03BBluxuvsO8R3JXQjxV1i.hcHSqhGICMyPiYdG Recently, I've seen a lot more comments about how Apex sucks, they don't pay out, they're a scam and fraud, they "owe us money", etc. If you've sat in one of my Sessions or watched the recordings, you would know that I am a huge proponent of Apex. This is due to my experience with them for the past 2+ years. You also would know that I go over very detailed steps on how to ensure your payout requests get approved. This includes getting your P&L Balance to an amount where taking the max payout will not nuke the account. I don't have a habit of sharing the numerous payouts I've received from Apex, but I'm going to share this one to show you all that Apex DOES pay out skilled and disciplined traders who FOLLOW APEX'S RULES! Per my strategy, I got a few of my 50K PA accounts to a balance of $54631.41. I always follow this self rule because it allows me to take the max 50K account payout, and still have my original $2500 drawdown to rinse and repeat. I submitted the payout request yesterday, and it got approved today.

@Stephen Gerald Onyia I meant for you personally if you noticed an average time for max payout based on the strategy you use. Once a month per pa or several times etc. It matter to keep a realistic expectation of what's possible

@Stephen Gerald Onyia I just was curious how long it takes you on average, following the plan, so I and others can get a realistic expectation........

Questions after first successful paper trade
So i placed and won my first paper trade today. Was a long position jedi on the 1 hour. I also placed a short position superman on the 5 min that overlapped with the long trade(seemed like it could hit on the way to the long filling) however it was automatically cancelled after some time(no idea why but it would have lost anyways). Are overlapping trades not allowed? Or if they are, are they best avoided anyways in terms of an eval account? Does margin and leverage change per trade or is it an account setting? Do eval accounts utilize this too? Cash accounts? Was this technically a bad trade based on leverage/margin? Trying to prepare myself for passing an eval account, so just trying to understand some of the technicalities that arent necessarily covered in the course. Appreciate you all!!!

@Nathaniel Wray thank you!! Figured as much. Although the whole concept is kind of gambling so don't really get why they're strict on that. If you see that the move may happen both ways shouldn't be an issue. Is what it is good to know!! Thanks again

First Trade On EA account
I have gotten so so so much help from this group. I just entered my first Trade (lost.) I really want it to be a learning experience. Is there anything seen that I could of done better or different. I've watched every possible training video I could get my hands on.

Unless I myself am not understanding something, since I am also relatively new haha, all indicators pointed to a short position there but you took long
Apex coupon code
I made myself a deal that I would do 100 practice trades before I tried to pass the Eval. I'm inching very close but I have to wait for it to go on sale! Does any one have a good coupon code for them?
