Tonight isn’t just Eurovision… it’s also a celebration of one of our own. 💛 At 22:00 Ukraine time, our Teachers for Peace community is coming together for: ✨ Eurovision 2026 ✨ Music, laughter & connection ✨ And a special birthday celebration for our amazing Teacher Liliana Gonçalves from Portugal 🇵🇹💛 Somewhere between the dramatic Eurovision performances, the questionable voting decisions 😂, and the late-night snacks… we’ll also be celebrating a woman who has brought so much kindness, warmth, and heart into this community. Liliana has been part of this journey through so many moments — supporting students, encouraging teachers, and reminding us what real community feels like. 💛 🌍 Students and teachers from different countries 🎶 Music connecting us across borders 💬 English, laughter, friendship, and fun 🎂 And yes… probably some very chaotic birthday singing too 😂 Come join us tonight. Four years ago, your lives changed. Schools closed. Cities shifted. Everything paused. From a small room in Spain, together with a handful of teachers — @Liliana Gonçalves a Gonçalves @Jill T ill T @olha (and soon after @Kasia Santos antos @Mari Kiyama ma @Nataliia Vasylieva and so many others) — we opened a Zoom room. We didn’t know what Teachers for Peace would become. We only knew you needed continuity, and that the world needs solidarity, kindness, and support if it is ever going to get better. And you showed up. From shelters. During blackouts. Through uncertainty. Teachers for Peace grew because you continued. We came to know Ukraine not through headlines, but through you — your courage, your humor, your intelligence, your strength. Your resilience shaped all of us. It changed us too. What we are building together will outlast this war. That gives me hope — even when new wars begin. Four years later, we are still here. And we continue.
