📖 2 Corinthians 12:9
📖 2 Corinthians 12:9 — “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” Let’s clear something up real quick… God did not say: “Get stronger and then I’ll help you.” “Fix yourself and then I’ll show up.” “Hold it together so I can use you.” Nope. He said GRACE is sufficient. That word sufficient means enough. Not barely enough. Not just enough to survive. Enough to carry you, cover you, and keep you standing when you feel like you’re folding. You don’t need to be stronger. You don’t need to fake being okay. You don’t need to prove you got this. Weakness is not a disqualifier… it’s an invitation. Paul begged God to remove his struggle. God said, “I’m not taking it… but I am sustaining you through it.” And that’s the part people don’t like. Because we want removal. But God specializes in reinforcement. Grace steps in when: • your patience runs out • your faith feels shaky • your energy is gone • your smile is forced Grace carries what strength can’t. Grace holds what pride won’t admit. Grace shows up when all you can say is, “God… I’m tired.” And hear me clearly, sis: If grace is sufficient, then you don’t have to beat yourself up for being human. God’s power shows up right where you feel the weakest. Not after you clean it up. Not after you get it right. But right there. So today? Rest in grace. Lean into mercy. And stop demanding strength from yourself when God already supplied grace. 💬 Comment “GRACE IS ENOUGH” if you’re letting God carry what you can’t anymore. 🕊️✨

GRACE IS ENOUGH!
Sunday Reflection Question

I feel like I’m more seasoned. More focus. Starting my day off intentionally with prayer. More interested in the stories in the Bible and who God is. Setting boundaries unapologetically. I feel like peace and grace is over me at this moment. I like where I’m at right now. It’s a good feeling.
God never asked you for religion. He asked you for relationship.
And yes… there’s a difference. Religion told you: • “Get yourself together first.” • “Don’t ask questions.” • “Hide your mess.” • “Look holy even when you hurting.” • “God only love you when you acting right.” But God? God said: “Come here. Just like that.” 👀 God was walking with Adam before there was ever a church. Talking to Abraham like a friend. Letting Moses argue with Him without striking him dead. And Jesus? Jesus was EATING with people church folks wouldn’t even sit next to. Let that sink in. If God wanted perfection, He would’ve picked better people. Religion loves rules. God loves real. Religion wants performance. God wants honesty. That’s why some of y’all feel closer to God in your car, in the shower, or crying at 2AM than you ever did in a pew. Because God don’t live in buildings. He lives in conversations. And listen… If church hurt you? God didn’t. If people used Scripture to control you? That wasn’t God. If you walked away from religion? You didn’t walk away from Him. 🗣️ God ain’t scared of your questions. He ain’t offended by your doubts. He ain’t waiting on you to be perfect. He just wants you to talk to Him. Walk with Him. Be real with Him. Religion says: “Do better.” Relationship says: “Come closer.” And if we being honest… Most of us don’t need more rules. We need healing.

You’ve said a mouthful. Just last month I’ve had a long conversation with my brother why I’ve chosen relationship over religion.

No explanations required unless you want to share. This is a safe table. 🫶🏽We listen. We don’t judge. We pray.

Rebuilding
Come Sit With Me for a Minute 🫶🏽
Family… let’s pause for real. Not the “I’m good.” Not the church answer. Not the one you give so nobody asks questions. I’m asking about your spirit. The part of you that: • gets tired of being strong • keeps showing up anyway • believes God… but still feels heavy sometimes What’s the one word that best describes where you are right now? Not where you want to be. Not where you used to be. Just where you are. This is a no-fixing zone. Nobody is here to preach at you, correct you, or rush your healing. We’re just present. Together. I’ll go first so you know it’s safe: Grounded. Not because everything is perfect… but because God has me planted, even in the uncertainty. Your turn. Drop ONE word and let it be honest. 🤍⬇️

Optimistic, prayerful and hopeful. I’m running the race and I’m fighting the fight. No matter how dim it may seem. I see the light at the end of the tunnel.
