Deadlifts
For years I have been deadlifting with straps. In my current training I am doing sumo deadlifts. They are harder than I expected and feel so strange. I am also working on doing them with no straps on my Texas Deadlift Bar. Thankfully my trainer is very patient and encouraging cause I need it right now. Going strapless is definitely helping me grow in my grip and my deadlifts. Not your average "grip" workout, but definitely one that works. Please forgive how slow I am. I'm working on the form, in unbelievable heat out here, and with my shredded thumb taped up to do this.

I think a lot of grip training started with lifting without straps. Your hands become the weakest link, so we start training them. Nice workout!
Ouch
It was a rough night for blob runs. Everything was going phenomenal for my left had and down hill for my right hand until this happened. All the skin came loose from the lower half of my right thumb to the point I had to pull it back down and it led to this. This is definitely the largest patch of skin I've lost during a grip workout. I was having a killer night for my left hand getting my 90 blob off the floor for a full range of emotion. It was becoming really clear something was wrong with my right hand when I couldn't even get my 85 blob off the ground. No matter what I did it felt like I wasn't even trying. Then it became clear when the skin was completely loose on over half my thumb. That felt like someone had degloved the bottom of my finger.

It’s part of training grip, the skin can be the weakest link. Hope you recover soon !

@Montana Fish same here!
Chalk
Do u guys think all chalk is equal? I just use chalk from academy but was curious if there was a difference?

As long as there are no additives to the chalk there is not much difference. I’ve heard of wax with chalk, but I think you only fool yourself if you use anything else than chalk. In any competition there will only be chalk.
Pluto
Lifting Pluto ( a tool made by John Oka ). It’s one of the toughest lifts there is.

Yes, he made great pieces. He doesn’t anymore. I have a few of them.

@Phil Peterson Some of them are made by others. Replicas.
Coin Pinch
Finally messed around with my pinch coins today. “American Dime” lift w/ both hands @ 17.5 pounds and was able to get up to 20lbs w/ my right hand
