Introducing IBC Tool -- a tool to help manage your IBC strategy
Hi all — I wanted to share a tool I've been working on for a while to help me manage my IBC strategy. I built it for myself first. I'm hoping for feedback so I can make it useful for others too — the goal is to make IBC more transparent. Take a look at https://ibctool.app It keeps your policies in one place: cash value, loans, and what you can still borrow. Envelope-style budgeting of your cash value so you can earmark money for a car, a property, reserves, etc. without actually pulling it out of the policy. It also helps you run the PUA ↔ loan cycle for recurring expenses (Nash's new car example): borrow against a category, repay from redirected PUA, refill when the loan is gone, borrow again. And it keeps an eye on the usual policy nuances and footguns — interest about to capitalize, PUA room you're behind on, a rider close to lapsing, that kind of thing. Its currently free to use and I'm looking for feedback, so hop on and let me know what you think. Feel free to post any questions you may have here.

=Mortgage payment arbitrage= A listener brought up the question of paying off a mortgage with a policy loan. @David Befort outlined the strategy of arbitraging the difference between a 30 year and a 15 year mortgage payment and socking it away into a policy until such time as you decide if you want to pay off the mortgage (or not!). Here is how you'd implement that strategy with IBC Tool: - Create a new category called "Mortgage Payoff" - Raise your monthly PUA target by the arbitraged difference between the 15 and 30 year payments, and tag that contribution to the category. - Sit back and wait! *I love these little IBC specific strategoies and would love to support them more explicilty if there is interest. I coudl see this particular staretgy coming with a calulator to do all the math for you*

@Joe Matchette Indeed, very nice to meet you as well! Please make sure you're visiting https://ibctool.app If you're still experiencing issues please grab a time here and we can walk through it together: https://cal.com/ibctoo
Introduce Yourself!
Can be just to say hi, tell a story about how you discovered IBC, what you're exited about right now etc. Please feel free to mention also what you do so we can support eachothers businesses, but let's not be "spammy" about it ok?

Hi everyone! My name is Hunter and I've been practicing IBC for 3 or 4 years at this point. We've used it to finance real estate purchases (and weather inclement ones!), save up for recurring expenses like new cars and travel, and even start policies for my two kids so it's very clear who they should be talking to when they need money for college, a new car, starting a business, etc. (hint: not me!). I've been working on an app to help people manage their IBC strategies, and you can find it here: https://ibctool.app/ Oh and I listen to every Wealth Warehouse podcast!
