Hi everyone! This is Hsuan. I was born and raised in southern Taiwan. Traveling and exercising are my passions. I’m so happy to join Teacher Bannai's online course. I couldn't agree more with what Teacher Bannai mentioned in the guidebook video: that through learning English, we can gain a deeper understanding of American history.

@Shan Serasis Actually, it's both. I still had one or two sentences left to finish when the practice continued. When I reviewed ep 2 and ep 3 the next day, I slowed the speed down to 0.75x to keep up with the teleprompter. After some practice, it's much better now!

Self Introduction
Hello everyone, I’m Sally. I’ve been in the US for about a year (still alive 😅). It’s hard to find good Asian restaurants where I live, so cooking has become my biggest challenge here. I'm also trying to find fun things to do—I recently started learning snowboarding! Happy to join this group. Looking forward to experiencing the culture and growing together!

It's nice to meet you, Sally! I'm going to Japan next week for my first time snowboarding, I heard that snowboarding starts with falling pretty badly, right? I'm excited, but also a little worried, haha😆

@Shan Serasis Oh, 羊肉爐 is great! I work in an indigenous village, and my boss is 泰雅. His father often goes hunting, so we sometimes have wild goat 羊肉爐. The meat is very tender.
