I'll start for us. Michael and I have been homesteading since 2020 and originally started out by diving into laying hens, meat chickens and PIGS. Twenty-five year old me would never have believed that! Over the past few years, though, we started to look for ways to make our homesteading journey a little less physically taxing so that we can continue raising meat as we age. We had been considering quail lightly, but started to dig deeper and discovered we were missing out. Our homestead has now shifted to focus almost exclusively on Coturnix quail. We are now selling quail at a local market and love having the opportunity to help others start and grow in their own quail journey. We wanted to build a community to encourage, educate and to continue learning ourselves. Enter Skool. It's a safe space to talk openly and honestly.
